RIP beautiful woman.... Thanks for making me happy during the 80's.... The best time of my life

I just found out that Tina Turner passed away, her music will live on. I am such a huge fan and I will miss her. R I P😢😢😢

I'm 55 and rode the perfect 80s wave - graduated high school in 85, university in 89... I guess we figured great music would always be with us. Sure, times then were far from perfect, but what a pale shadow is cast by life since about 94 or so, in so many ways. The 80s were magical, and this is not simply nostalgia speaking... My 80s peeps get it.

I am very close to an 8 year who loves the 80s and indeed Tina Turner. He introduced me to a female harmonica player only the other night and I've never felt anything like it. That boy is special

her passing is tragic. We as a society lost part of our youth, our shared culture today. There will never be another like her.

Oh NO!! I had no idea she passed away!! I am so devastated and actually crying now! We certainly did lose an iconic and inspirational woman whose amazing talents have touched millions of lives!!! She will be forever missed!! On a personal level my heart is breaking, a wonderful part of my childhood and life is gone forever 😭

She is Amazing in this movie - she was at the height of her beauty and awesomeness. It's a strangly prophetic film.

Tina started in the 60s, but really became a legend in the 80s when she went solo. What a powerful voice…my gosh.!! Thanks for giving the world so much joy and wonderful songs.!

Never heard the long version before now, it's incredible. Awesome song for an awesome movie, can't think of one without thinking of the other... Tina was great in this movie, never understood why she hasn't been in more movies.

Agree, especially where I spent most of the decade. Not much in the USA. Mexico and Spain. Not even much here where I am, and still local beasts think that can judge me. God has judged in return. Out of my life, and whatever punishments giving that can't see, because blinded. Mules with blinders. Awesome, because personally I'd chain all to a whipping post. That's the concept of the repeated punishments, for irredeemably failing me, and would rather die wicked. Any blah blah blah self justifications don't matter.

RIP... one of my favorite movies and favorite songs when I was a kid.

This takes me back to the eighties when I was a kid watching this movie on HBO which aired twice a day

This is one of those songs that marks a point in my life, the timing and melody and lyrics, I really like them even though it was not on top for long.

You said a mouthful of true my friend ...the first time I saw this was at a late night theater two for $4...I thought I was going to see cheech and chong but when this song began i was like I don't think we're I Kansas anymore toto ...and the movie on that giant screen well tell me now is there any other way ?? This song still makes mine eyes water since I was first diagnosed with blood clot, diabetes, abscess, surgeries after surgeries. But I'm not stopping life for what I did to myself. I did a much more better thing. I gave up smoking for 22 and half years, hard liquor for three years, beer and wines for two years. So I'm keeping my integrity up and I'm a whole better, finer than before because I am myself hero.

I loved the 80! I felt I was the perfect age to GET THEM. I turned 21 in 1980!

She was a queen of music she got a good voice she had good lucks and all these crap singers on 2021 will never still be recognised in 25+ years like Tina Turner still is!!!

We have to treasure Tina as I worry for her health now incredible woman just imagine being Tina Turner and living her life rising to that level and rebuilding it again out of the ashes to have a second career from her 40s to recent times

I was VERY lucky to see Tina sing this during one of her last concerts at Wemberly, it will stay with me for the rest of my life, Im also very well aware this makes me sound old but music just isnt as good as it used to me, the greats are dying and we will have lost so much.

This is fantastic, An icon singer for all of today's singers. The passion, energy, excitement and always will be in my opinion, simply the best!!!

Each time i listen i hear something new, big props to the production on this extended version. Oh and the playing of course, tip...top.

'Give it all or nothing'. This encompasses life and youth culture of the eighties. Tina certainly gave us all. I mean the edge, talent and uniquess 'beyond'... #tinaturner 4ever

Absolutely spectacular and titanic tune. This full length version is fantastic. Definitely will be on my morning jog playlist along with the 12 inch version of Run Runaway by Slade.
