Tina is a Queen 👑 She was 61 years old when she performed here at Wembley. I have deep respect for Tina. What she went through with Ike left her with two directions up or down. Tina rose UP! To say Tina is the queen of rock n roll is an understatement. The original Bold Soul Sister, B.S.S.! Look at her, she was 60 yo when she performed this concert, but make no mistake, Anna Mae has been grinding this, her signature song, since the 60s. The original recording was very much like this, but obviously in concert, Tina is milking every drop, building the anticipation. She got you!!! Fun fact: she played the "Acid Queen" in the Who's legendary rock opera, Tommy! I'd love to get your reaction to that, it's mind blowing, her first acting role. Go Tina!

Legendary def

I saw Tina in concert about 2 months before this show. She was 60 years old at the time and you would NEVER know it. She was running around and dancing on that stage with more energy than people half her age...in 3 -inch heels no less. Her voice is absolutely ridiculous. We were seated about as far back in the stadium as you could be, but it didn't matter. Even without the sound system you could probably hear her powerful voice a mile away. And those legs!! Just insane. Let me tell you, when she did this song...WOW!!! It was like a jolt of electricity went through that stadium. Hands down one of the 3 best concerts I have ever been to. I'm so happy and thankful I got to see her when I did because at the time this was said to be her final tour. She ended up doing one more tour in 2008 to celebrate her 50 years ( *50 years!!!* ) in the music business, but we didn't know that when we saw her in 2000. We believed it would be the last chance we would ever have to see this legend perform live. She did NOT disappoint!!

I had the pleasure of meeting Tina and spending perhaps an hour with her in her dressing room before a show, perhaps on that same tour that you saw the concert. What a gracious, kind and humble woman she is, no attitude at all, except for on stage of course, then she was all sass and attitude. Today she is struggling with cancer and has already made her public goodbye to her fans. I am so sad to know that she will not sing or perform for us again. What a legend and incredible human being she is.

Great reaction Tina turner the Queen of Rock ‘n’ Roll. IMO. I love this cover of CCR proud Mary it has a whole different vibe from the original. I love Tina turner especially live she’s definitely one of a kind. Love this thanks.😀👍❤️✌️🌼

Man. The joy we would feel at a live concert. I went to one of today's artist with my nephew. Won't say the performer but the atmosphere was ugly. I will never go to another. It's a totally different vibe

I liked this version of _Proud Mary,_ and Tina is a powerhouse even after many decades of singing. She can sure put on a concert! That said, I like the 1969 original by Credence Clearwater Revival better. I'm probably going to get flamed for this, but I even like the 1971 Ike and Tina Turner cover better. (Ike is her former husband and abused her doing their marriage. Ike himself said long after their breakup, "“Yeah, I hit her, but I didn’t hit her more than the average guy beats his wife.." Understandably, he sort of got cancelled decades ago.)

She's been a class act since I saw her back in the day (Ike and Tina Turner Revue with the Ikettes). She needed help in the 1980s- and got lt in England from Mark Knopfler and other wise rockers. And moved to France, where she's revered AND her $ goes further. Loved Tina then- Nutbush City Limits! Love her now, whatever she chooses to warble. Good catch, DubØ- be safe.

After all the years of Ike controlling and abusing Tina it is just amazing that she went on to an incredible solo career and sell out stadiums on her own!

in the beginning it was ike& tina - but, he was very abusive- she took a lot of crap- he beat her like she was a man- she divorced him & had to sue him to keep her name "Tina" [not her given name]
