She performed the final night of her tour in Sheffield…. No big fuss about “Farwell tours” or maudlin nostalgia…. she does the show, hopped on her jet and went home with a casual, “ by the way, that was my last show”….. befitting a rock n roll queen.

Tina Turner was the best live female performer ever! Great musicians, great dancers, and of course the lady with the best legs in the business, the wonderful Tina Turner

She chose to be a victor, not a victim! Tina’s music got me thru one of the worst night in my life. Thank you.

I am glad that she and Erin Bach her husband found true love for each other. I PRAY THAT HE WILL BE OK WITH OUT HER BEING NEAR . THEY BEEN TO GATHER A LONG. TIME. GOD BLESS HIM.

She comes with something new every time. She has the voice, The body, The moves, and performances that will blow your mind. She does her thing without bothering anyone or trying to be more than anyone; she just does her thing without trying to break records or sell numbers.

I saw both Tina and Madonna in concert in '87. For Madonna, the experience was not much better than if I had stayed home listing to her on my stereo. Tina, on the other hand, was just wow!

I was blessed to not only see her in concert but when she came out on a lift she allowed me to touch her foot and ran her hand over mine with that award winning smile. My heart melted and my cheeks hurt for days cuz I couldn't stop smiling. I love you and will miss you dearly. My prayers for your beautiful husband are daily said. It's really kind of sad that all of us have to grow old...even the entertainers we love so much. And we all have souls in need of spiritual transformation, from the time we're born. We all need salvation through Jesus Christ before we leave this world.

She left no life behind both of her son's preceded her in death and they didn't populate. She took them with her. Her spirit populated in to billions of women all over the world that was her ministry. It is greater now than ever and it will exist for ever Anna Mae . Amen

Oh how I love that lady. I miss her but she has earned her retirement. I have so many happy memories of seeing her live in concert numerous times.

Tina was amazing in every way ! Her strength, determination, survival instincts, her natural beauty and style along with her amazing talent. While on stage you can see the fun that also went into her concerts. I was treated to a Tina Turner concert in Toronto, Canada and as I said she was amazing ! I sooo enjoyed her concert and I left that evening feeling energized and young again. I loved Tina Turner and was very saddened to hear of her passing. She will never ever be forgotten throughout the world. God Bless you Tina 💖💖💖💖

Amazing woman to perform like that at 60 yo what an inspiration

I am not one to get star struck but if I were standing in front of Tina Turner, I would weep. Her performance with Beyonce, all I can see is I saw no one but Tina. Beyonce might have well as been one of the numerous background dancers. Ms. Turner still has the most beautiful legs there has ever been. A living legend.

I have seen Tina Turner twice in concert and I will never ever forget those experiences they changed my life for the better this lady is a legend and a super star !

See I grew up as a poor white Canadian, one of four kids that ended up in a home after their mother left in Indian Head Saskatchewan. My father listen to all sorts of music and I think I tried to be like hopefully his favourite which I wasn't but I was the one out of five kids that loved the music you listen to. One of my favourites was Tina Turner which I did not discover until the 80s when I was a 18 19 year old. To this day I think she is awesome beautiful and talented. Music has no colour it's just great music

I was very disappointed with the HBO documentary - it spent way too much footage on the abusive relationship with Ike and hardly enough on her subsequently amazing solo career. And both she and Erwin were involved of course in the production which I completely didn’t understand. She was so much more than an abused woman - her courage, determination, belief in herself was so much more.

I have never been a die-hard Tina fan earlier in her career, but after reading I Tina's book in the 80's and then the movie although inbellished gives you an insight into what was going on, then interviews,Kennedy center Honors..etc...I can't get enough just because of her strength &will to take something &make nothing from herself ever since her childhood!! Just obstacle after obstacle. She literally left Ike with 36cents and a gas card and had to reinvent herself all over again @40 yrs old!!! Who has the wherewithal to even began to find the strength to do that!? She deserves to live out the number of her days however she wants and I pray for her longevity as well 🙏🏽We got to witness "the hardest working woman in show business"during our lifetime. There will Never!! Be another Tina Turner or even close just because today's generation are not built like this!!! Period.

She's always been a good person. If you go back and read what others have written about working with her over her entire career, you will never hear a bad word about her. Even her children and step children. When they made her they broke the mold.

I agree with you mostly but.... Her children have said quite a bit about being hurt that she won't have a relationship with them. The only one she was even semi close to was Craig and he's passed on now. Even the son she has with Ikr has said she doesn't speak to him or see him and her stepchildren who said she was the only mother they ever knew have said she won't speak or see them.... They said she said she just wanted to forget anything having to do with Ike, even them. And I know she was horribly abused but that's the children's fault and it must really hurt. I still think she's a wonderful woman and performer but that doesn't mean she's perfect and hasn't hurt anyone.

Two sides to every story. She basically took care of them until they were grown. She may have gotten tired of being the cash cow for grown adults. Some accounts say the son she had with Ike struggled with drugs and she would help him when he hit rock bottom. All her sonss suffered as the result of their traumatic childhood no doubt.
