After playing a couple of games, I've come to the conclusion you need a full size game like this with more cards and more monsters. This is awesome and such a cool design.

Love the race and class selection! Such a clean selection process and a great way to add a little bit of individuality to each race.

Absolutely great concepts implemented in a dungeoncrawl! "If I roll doubles again I'll flip the table." 🤣 Just arrived a few days ago, and lost twice already! Love it!

I’m sold. I gotta get this game & Gate. I’m also looking into getting Iron Helm + expansions. Jason, is there any other games in your Iron Helm universe? Dig Down Dwarf, Zogar’s Revenge, etc? Keep up the great work, brother.

I love iron helm and its nice to see new iteration from that game. After watching this video, I have a question: I am not sure if this is possible, but what happen if you get the same (non shard) item from the treasure chest twice or more?

This was designed to be Black and White. I think it works quite well and adds to the drama of the experience.

Just bought one from the game crafter after view from your video. Fan of Iron helm and Mini rogue, I love this kind of game. I pretty sur tien helm will stance a place in my bag pocket everytime I leave my house :D I'm currently working on my own PnP game and I love all the mechanism you put on it. I wonder if I can share my ideas with you ? Cheers !

After each level when you must eat food, can you also gain 1 energy? Can you ever choose to attack without consuming energy and just use the results of the dice roll? Or is spending energy to attack a requirement?

Can the game be sleeved and fit in the tin? What size

What is your position on others using the Tin Helm game mechanics to design a new game (sort of reskinning the game and adding new cards, etc.)?

Maybe I missed something, but can we use Favour for re-rolls or something? Is the Ring the only option I have to spend my Favour? I was max Favour at level 3 already...

I have much to learn from the master

Played this for the first time yesterday, managed to win on my fourth attempt, score was 52 I think. Couple of questions. Am I right that you don't *have* to use energy when attacking? You can just roll to attack and not add any extra damage? Something in the manual seemed to suggest to me that you're expected to use energy unless you go for a single point of unavoidable damage. Second, the potion card says it is 'removed from play' after use - does this mean completely removed, as in you can't draw it again even if you find it in a chest?

What are the other two games in the series ?

i don't understand what use has the ''favor''. Can change it for something? Thanks! i bought it! i hope that will arrive me soon!!

I just got my copy but in case others are seeing this. I believe 10+ favor with the alter card gives you a shard. Otherwise for points at the end.

@@travismullinix yes. I played it and is beatifull. But you receib the shard and benefits without lose the favor points. But so dificult to found the Altar. I love the game!

Correct me if I’m wrong, but couldn’t you have 2 double sided race cards and 2 double sided class cards and that provides all 4 races each the option of the 4 classes while still only using 4 cards?

You are correct, but I liked that each race had a class that they could not be. Sort of reminded me of some older tabletop roleplaying games.

At the moment I do not have plans for an expansion, but if that ever happened, I would likely do a stand alone expansion that could be mixed in with the first game.
