Isn't putting aluminum foil into fire toxic? That's why stoners don't use aluminum filters when smoking out of apple bongs.

Take a chicken breast seasoned with Everglades and pepper..Took 1/2 cup of chicken flavored stuffing put 1/4 cup of cold water instead of hot water in it.Put it in the foil and cooked it 15 mins on each side and it was done. Going to make a waffle House style hash brown packet this weekend when I go camping will tell you how it works out!😀

It is a lot easier, quicker and neater if you put all the food on half the tinfoil then pull the other half over the top so the two halves meet one one side. You then roll the edges as you would if it were on top. To open you simply slit the packet down the middle and you have a easy neat serving bowl.

Recently learned a new trick .put a cabbage leaf on bottom. Let it burn. Actually tastes good burnt too. I've never cut my steak and it turns out great. I don't ever turn it either. I put a small stripe of mustard on top of the foil and when it turns dark brown the food is done. I usually add a little red wine also. Yeah you can cook about anything. I've cooked fresh caught bluegill, chicken breaats, frozen hamburger patties etc. Used broccoli , cauliflower , rhubarb, asparagus, soy sauce , steak sauce etc. Almost anything you can think of.

The main point is that you are outdoors and enjoying a fire and not playing on cell phones or computers... etc etc. That Steak looked Well Done. For me... I don't really care... It's a restaurant industry thing. Every type of food you portion up with a knife needs a different cutting board. (Beef, poultry, fish, veggies, etc) Honestly it isn't a problem if you clean the board with a lil' bleach afterwards, but habits die hard.

Hey there! I know it's been a year and I dunno if you're going to check this but if you want any advice about learning to cook I might be able to help! I'm no expert but I basically taught myself and have a few recipes that are easy enough and should help you develop some skills.

Kinda mess it up? Buddy, it was already messed up when you prepared that steak!!! That should be a crime to treat steak that way. I see too many people following this…I’m sorry for your leather and potato’s!
