The one thing I will never forget what wilder said at the end of the 3rd fight with fury after getting knocked out and then coming to in his corner he said " it's over " he hasn't been the same since...from all the bullshit he said from them fight that they were rigged, I didn't like the man but he's getting more and more humble since then and I have a new look on him...I didn't think I'd say this but we all grow as we get older...Well done wilder...your alright 🙏🏽

Wilder is still a threat on his day but I think he's mostly past it now. He seemed chill in his interview, I didn't see the hunger or desire, he just looked for 1 punch tonight.

Man this guy has matured so much since I last heard him. Gained a fan and my respect.

At 38, his motivation, speed and stamina is no longer the same but I have no doubt anyone that fight him going to have to respect his power. Deontay is just out here collecting checks for his family now and is no shame in that.

Man picked up a check a ran away. All the Wilder vs Joshua talking that he's done was just to sell this fight imo. He clearly hasn't got it in him no more. Wilder ko of Helenius and his reaction in the post fight press conference where he broke down, was very feintly in the back of my mind, because i thought he might be finished. He has lost his aggression and passion for the game and tonight confirmed it for me although this is all hindsight kicking in, i believed he would win. Its not just ring rust. Parker was excellent and as game as ever, terrific performance.

Wilder has always been my favorite heavyweight but he has changed as far as mindset about certain things but fighting wise his aggression is different...... It's always gonna be 💣 squad tho , congratulations too him 🔥

George Clinton is the one and only in that regard.

There were many reasons to why he lost and wasn’t in his best shape. 1) Ring rust and not being active 2) Parker was way more active 3) Wilder didn’t change his tactics and wasn’t as engaging. 4) His right hand is very predictable as Parker was ducking underneath it like Fury. 5) He mentioned he went to Costa Rica, in another sense to find himself and fulfilment in life. Therefore the fire of boxing wasn’t as important to him. 6) He’s reached the age he has made it in life. 7) His daughter’s birthday. Overall he seems to be on a journey to find happiness in other ways.

To be fair he's like 6'7 he weighs like 225. For him to not be a twig he have to be like 280

He’s a one trick pony and always has been. He can’t box but he can slug. Minus a KO, he will always lose. Those chicken legs don’t help - plus having a corner that probably tells him what he wants to hear. He should have never fired Mark Breland. I always picked Wilder over AJ. But at this point, AJ might go in there and take Wilder out. AJ looks hungry, Wilder looks like he just woke up from a relaxing nap on the couch and hopped in the ring with his eyes half shut. He wasn't prepared for this, and at his age, he should retire.

Im a huge Wilder fan from the beginning. He doesn’t have the same spark. He's had a great career and he still has his money and mind. Nothing shameful about walking away now and enjoying the rest of his life.

I actually thought Wilder vs AJ was a 50/50 fight but after seeing his performance against Parker, I’d say he only has a 25% chance now.

Few years back he probably could have knocked out parker. Now y can see aj eddi will wanna take the fight because he is done at highest level same as Tyson was when he fought lewis

@@abdulkadirjumale2411 What was so special about prime Wilder? He’s always been the guy who relies on one punch and we saw that against Parker, AJ would beat any version of Wilder easily.

If there were more Deontay Wilders in the world, it would be a better place. World class athlete/champion, humble, made a ton of money and invested it wisely, family guy, intelligent and insightful. I wish more people were like him.

Many people appreciate Wilder for his sportmanship and the genuine respect he gives Parker, but I believe it's, because he simply didn't get knocked out! His ego didn't get hurt by getting beat at his own game again. He knew very well, that his biggest chance of winning is and always was the knockout, so the loss actually wasn't that surprising for him...

His lack of competition showed he definitely needs to keep more active

Basically meaning he thought he had Won the fight😂 He LOST every single round!(So I don’t think he really believes that he Won deep down-he hardly did anything for the judges to score in his favour like Parker did, he’s probably just tryna save a bit of face) Parker schooled him big time!!!💯🥊 BUT Fairdoos to Wilder - Still a bit of an excuse from him! BUT showed a hell of a lot more good sportsmanship than he has in the past so hats off to him for that👏.

Now we know why Wilder's team never wanted any unification fights. They should've at least cashed him out when that $100 million deal was on the table. That's always going to be on Wilder who famously said he chose LOYALTY to Showtime who btw is no longer in the boxing game instead of fighting on the same network as he fought on tonight for a fraction of the original money years ago against Joshua. Nevertheless they did a superb job marketing him but he was a one trick pony. Always was always will be.

after this terrible performance, ruiz now thinks wilder is easy work. i won't be surprised if they fight next year😂

The real reason why wilder lost here was because he was actually trying to box and imply boxing fundamentals. If he would have actually went in for the ko and applied pressure, he would have most likely got the ko.

@@H.K.5 besides the fact that he was mainly passive for 1-6 rounds. Wilder isn’t a boxer. The only reason he keeps winning is by his unorthodox right hand and over hands that get him the ko. Wilder in this fight seemed to be more passive and focused more on footwork, and technical skills which he doesn’t even need.

With his new trainer, I think Wilder 1 win, 3 losses.

don't go blaming the trainer now Lmfao, Wilder lost because of his opponents. Fury used his superior height, reach and size to bully him, and Parker used his superior speed, head movement and footwork to outbox him. Wilder's not a good Boxer regardless of who's training him. Malik was also telling Wilder to step on the gas in the last round of the fight, but Wilder refused to.

2 losses 1 win I think. Malik Scott only was in his corner for fury 3. And tbf he was as good as he’s ever going to be in that fight fury is just better than him. Tonight was disappointing but not rlly sure he gives af anymore
