What our channel is about:
We bought this semi-detached bungalow in August 2022 and given ourselves 3years to flip the property and sell on. We have a target budget of £70,000! Natasha is the editor and video maker, while Rhys is the builder (a carpenter by trade). We plan on doing 95% of the work ourselves to keep costs down.
This channel is for documenting our experiences - Good or Bad. This is our first time doing anything like this with full times jobs! Can we stick within our budget? Great job 👏 Planning doing this myself when I do my extension. Where did you find all the information regarding the roof tilling & fitting velux windows.

Hi Luke, thank you! I have good general knowledge of building as I’m a carpenter and been in and around construction all my life. To make sure I done everything to regs I made sure I installed everything to manufacturers and NHBC standards. I also did a lot of research on KZread and Google for the roof, as for the velux window, they come with instructions and I asked the supplier to give me the correct flashing for the tiles I used. I will also double and triple check/watch videos if I’m uncertain just to re-assure myself 😂 I have a video on 15 things I learnt while doing this roof if you haven’t watched this. And if it’s something you’re interested in, we started off building a garden room then moved onto building our extension by our selves.
