Was this used in a Sapphire and Steel episode? (Joanna Lumley and David McCallum) The station looks familiar.

They turned our old perfectly good terraced house into a parking lot too after the Altrincham council brought it for demolition. What a waste. Gone were the days of knowing your neighbours, many forced into council flats and estates/

Why is it that in nearly all Before and After photos, I much prefer the more orderly life of Before, even while accepting that life for many was much tougher back then? Is it simply nostalgia or have we lost our identity through a101 well meaning, but ultimately debasing schemes to make our lives better - like the slum clearances that threw up tower blocks ridden by crime, or the social meddling of diversity, that's flooded our country with people who have nothing to do with our history and who march to a different flag.
