This program has always made me want to get together with people and build a full size roman fort. Or heck, a small town even would be fun! Now I might fire up MC for the first time in a while and do some building!

I do this too but I usually don't build specifically time team buildings. You should use the conquest reforged mod if you want to build Roman stuff as it adds plaster, mosaics, roof tiles, arches, windows, basically everything you need to build a villa except the furniture. It will be a bit overwhelming at first but trust me in time it will be worth it

@@NavyDood21 I ended up building a Roman fort recently, not a huge one, just big enough for the first cohort of a legion (double strength so about 800 men) and am in the process of building a vicus attaches to the fort. Minecraft is really a great tool for building and the conquest reforged mod can really help you step up your building game, especially with Roman and medieval buildings
I hated seeing them strip away that lovely little copse. Each time I've seen this episode I'm reminded of my hiding places growing up in small-town Texas.

The English Heritage policy is for the preservation of sites , allowing for future investigation. You saw what was left when a mosaic floor was removed.
