I'm pretty young myself 30s and every time I hear Dark side of the moon it reminds me of so so so many acid fueled nights and a few days. I easily foresee another trip in my very near future within hours actually, and there's a 99% chance I will listen to it again while tripping. Lysergic Acid Diethylamide is an amazingly potent and powerful one.

I ran into this man playing in Rome today in 2023. The legend is still going strong. I recognized him instantly and had to walk away from my wife to pay my respect and give him his well earned tip.

The Red Spy I went on this trip last year and saw him there. It’s crazy.

I also saw this guy in Rome and it was hell to try and drag me away. This gentleman is so good it mesmerizing.

Over 50 years after it was first written, this is still light years ahead of any other "short" song. Superb cover by this "street" musician.

I bet the only thing in the musician's mind while the cop was talking to him was... "Wish You Weren't Here"

Pink Floyd. What a treat. Saw them 50 years ago when they were promoting Dark Side of The Moon. It was an outside venue with quadrophonic speaker set up. About 25,000 people. I was so blasted

It’s not easy to have so many unknown faces gather around n listen to your music without a big name to yourself. If you can achieve that feat, then definitely you should know you’re pretty damn good. ❤

I actually got to see this guy when I went to Rome and let me tell you, walking into the square and seeing the pantheon for the first time with Time playing was something else.

Actually he did slightly miss that note. And it delayed him by about a full beat. Doesn't really matter though, he got through it just fine. You can tell that he's really irritated though, and rightfully so - that solo is very rewarding to play and getting interrupted right at the first juicy part - when you have an engaged audience - yeah that would piss me off too.

There is one rule in Rock and Roll....... You never ever interrupt or pause a Pink Floyd Guitar solo... EVER.

I saw this guy and his band play on the Ponte Sant'Angelo in Rome a couple of summers ago. He played Kashmir, then I asked him if he could play a Chili Peppers tune and he played My Friends while I sang with another girl. Probably the best moment of my life. He later continued to play Stairway and man... he could almost match Page on that solo. Definitely keep an eye out for him in Rome because this guy is something special!

He did lower it for a minute. You can hear the distortion and tone change when he turns it down for the police. Towards the end during the quiet part you can see him turn the amp back up again for better tone! He knows what he’s doing

The Pantheon: Built around 1 AD, and rebuilt/Re dedicated in 126 AD. Since 609 AD one of the most unique Catholic Churches in the world (it’s official title is Basilica di Santa Maria ad Martyres (or Basilica of St. Mary and the Martyrs). I was thrilled and blessed to be there in 2015.

Watching this on my phone and I want to stick around for the whole show. What a great version. You rocked that 1 out.

Last year this dude was playing in the lovely Campo de Fiori in a beautiful evening. He and his drummer friend tied down us with their music. I rushed to buy a beer for me and my girlfriend and continue listen him for like an hour. I even shared a cigarette with him. It was one of the most memorable nights I've had in Rome. Cheers to my friend, and I wish for you all to come across with this beautiful soul.

Still one of my favorite Floyd albums is The Division Bell. I know it doesn’t have Waters on it, but Gilmore’s work is so expansive. I bought it when I was like 15 and really exploring new music, and to me it was like a psychedelic experience without taking any drugs. The song “Marooned” still hypnotizes me!

It warmed my heart to see so many people donating. He deserved it.
