Between the right two guys theres a sign wich shows information on where to find the nearest access point of a utility line. If I'm correct then these signs exist for: Drinking Water (Blue), Water for Firefighting (White with red border), Natural Gas (Yellow), Sewage (Green). Also there are some other, less common types of lines that i didnt list. The sign in the picture looks like its a blue one, for a drinking water line, if the description hasn't changed since then. The sign isnt there today wich indicates that the line is no longer active and got replaced by a different system. I didnt know that these signs existed back in ww2 so thats something i learnt from this video!

there are laws, for example in France if you live less than 500 meters from a church you must keep the old shutters and put in plastic windows that look like old wood. in my region we are not allowed to install tiles and the roofs must be 45 degrees.
