I once heard in an interview Tom had with Elliot (Edge?) that he thinks the universe is several billion years old. I beleive he is wrong. Before this reality was used by billions of players like it is today, each delta t here was much shorter in terms of lcs-ticks. So much that what appears to have taken billions of years with the clock we are using today only took lets say a day or so. If I were the lcs I wouldn't sit around waiting billions of years if I could do the job in just a day :)

I feel like our idea of a computer pales in comparison to what is operating the universe.

Aah so this explains why when I'm in Tom's Park I get about 2 days worth of time there for every hour I'm laid down on my bed, out of body over here. The delta t is different!💡 I wonder if it can be changed from 1 hour here, 48 hours there I presently experience to something more like 1 hour here, 1 week there? 🤔

Does anyone else find VR Tom really creepy? Might be a real game changer for me.

So consciousness creates time by periodically changing some of its reality cells. How can it possibly do this? Change requires a transition from a "before" to an "after" state, and for this sentence to even make sense, time must already exist intrinsic to consciousness. The very act of creating anything implies that there is a time prior to, and a time posterior to, the act of creation. A related but more useful concept might be that of a prerequisite or implication. If consciousness implies time, this means that wherever there is consciousness, there is also time by definition. Any weak attempt at salvaging a timeless creator for religious purposes is doomed to blow up in our faces by what I just stated.

Is it a problem? Not realy. Yes, time is fundamental, at least in this reality we experience together. It's part of the ruleset. What, who makes this ruleset? ... we don't know, at least on this 'side' of life. The rest is just speculation, so enjoy the show.

Exactly. Consciousness exists within time, as all things do, including any so-called creators. Nothing that exists can exist without time. Time is literally what gives it existence. It wouldn't even be able to observe itself if it wasn't within time, because it wouldn't have the time to observe itself lol. As he said, if there is no Before State there can't be an After State and the only way for there to be a before state is if time exists before consciousness. Not necessarily as a physical thing, but simply as a concept of keeping track of what occurred before and what occurs after, including the conception of Consciousness itself. There was a time before consciousness. The moment Consciousness comes into existence, it has to have a way of keeping track of it's existence. That's what we call time. Some folks are just religious and want to find something to worship, so they always have to place something outside of time lol.
