Excellent video, am happy to be a new subscriber. As a fellow farmer, may I ask your opinion if a Versatile Fury would achieve an adequate kill while breaking 4 year old alfalfa ground, or longtime rangeland sod ground, here in light sandy soils of southern Alberta, in your expertise?

We tried it in 30 year old hay land and it did an ok job but it was very wet and soft conditions so we quit after 15 acres and switched to direct seeded canola. I’m sure it would do a good job in dryer conditions than we were doing. I have broken some small parcels of grassland with it. Works great in the right conditions, usually 2 passes does a really nice job. It can ball up in uneven ground where there’s a hump halfway down the wing. Thanks for the follow!

by 400hp claas did you mean a xerion or a standard frame type axion? eitherway weve had good experiences with them here in germany, apart from maybe cab comfort being a little lower than your fendts and high end jds

An Axion. Major fuel savings and more uses, just trying to figure the finances and do my research, pretty sure the list has been getting longer lol. HP range is 320-420 ideally close to 400 in my mind. Fendt 936-1042, Claas Axion 930-960, JCB fastrac 8330, Massey Ferguson 8732S-8740s. Lots of other stuff to consider as far as features, price, location and availability.
