Time Attack Supra Gets CFD Aero Analysis w/ Verus Engineering! - Project TA90 #37

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

BE AWARE This video contains some very nerdy aero talks, but I learned a lot in the process and we identified a few areas for improvements on the current Supra TA90 V2. It's really amazing to be working with Verus on this project, and I'm really looking forward to what we can do this year!

Make the fake rear fender vents real. Any pressure relief is downforce gained. Hell make them bigger put some horizontal slots in the white of the rear bumper to relieve pressure built up. Some fins on the taillights directing the air toward the center of the car might limit help with drag from the body decreasing separation. Just hypothesizing? Gurney on the ducktail?

Your comments about squat when the car is at speed got me thinking... are you in a position to set up a daq system for 2021? Better definition of the boundary conditions for designing parts.
