@@FightSportTalk Just last week, Jennings was all about stressing the need for a written contract, so it's pretty unlikely it's just a verbal deal. Seems like they're sort of doing the PBC a solid by letting Fundora step into the ring with Spence before any rematch talk, maybe in hopes the PBC will return the favor down the line by giving Tszyu a shot at a big fight. But they should really be pushing for that immediate rematch. If they don't, who knows if it'll ever happen?

They got stitched up , pbc are famous for doing what they can to keep belts in their stable , Tim’s team were shown up in this whole process to be naive

Fundora will duck Tim, he knows what happens next lol his management was so scummy with their reply when asked about it, they want to use the belts to chase a big money fight elsewhere, he knows Fundora loses the belts whether they fight Bud or Tim next so they'll chase a Spence fight. 100%.

@@ateam137 I'm saying it's scummy because if there's a rematch clause, that reply means they're going to try to get out of it and not honour a contract. Everyone and their dog can see Tim earned a rematch, especially if it's in the contract. Trying to weasel out of it is just scummy in my opinion, I get that it's boxing politics but Fundora talked alot before the fight saying he'll knock Tim out twice...now he's lost that confidence and his team is trying to screw Tim over.

Yeh it was a gross bloody affair that does not promote the sport one iota why send the champ back in to bleed the house down for ten rounds

This was an unfortunate way for Tim to experience his first defeat, but it will stand him in good stead, he was starting to sound a tad cocky. Tim would probably win a rematch with Fundora even though it must be a bit like trying to punch the lights out of a street lamp post.

Great fight so proud of Tim the warrior from DownUnder , I think the rematch with fundora should be held in Australia maybe Melbourne so no real home ground advantage or even in Dubai so absolutely no doubt there is no home ground advantage.

Tim Tyzu is a unique fighter, and he's on his own lane.. I saw all of Fandora's highlights, and all of the guys he fought against took a beating and just gave up before the fights were stopped. Tim Tyzue is different. The result could have been different if it weren't for the cut from Fundora's elbow

Never underestimate your opponent

Isn't it obvious that without belts Tim's leverage and fight opportunities are now significantly altered. Why would Spence or Crawford fight him when he has no belts? Spence and Crawford want championship belts at 154. If Fundora fights and beats Spence then maybe a rematch for Tim but I'm betting Fundora would want Bud Crawford to maximize earnings before fighting Tim again. Tim's going to need patience now. He's a warrior and I am pretty certain he would have beaten Fundora if not for the freak cut - that's boxing.

He was elbowed, cut, lost blood, and was partially blind. How is he supposed to accept losing his belt in that manner? Fundora fought a handicapped man and barely won. Tim gave Fundora a title shot, and Fundora should reciprocate by giving him the rematch. It's the least he can do if he's a man with any honor.

@@johnortiz566 Fight is on video, no one purposely elbowed Tim. Tim is to blame for everything that transpired last night. He accidentally ran himself into Fundora’s elbow. Tim was greedy. He was champion, no one forced him to take this kid on in a fight, Tim made that decision. Tim along with all his fans/supporters at that time didn’t have gripes or complaints because they viewed Tim as untouchable, a win in the bag. Tim like his fans saw a young, green, inexperienced skinny kid that hasn’t even come to his man strength, it had to be a win,win for Tim. Tim saw a tall lanky kid with lots of real estate to chop at. It’s Tim’s fault that he failed himself last night by not investing in a more competent cut man, anything and everything happens in boxing. Invest in a knowledgeable, experienced cut man who will advise you wisely not to continue. His corner didn’t pull the fight,they had it all wrong but at the end of the day Tim is in control of his career. It’s human nature to put elsewhere but this is on Tim.

It’s on video, sounds like you need to rewatch then rewatch again. No one cheated Tim, Tim accidentally ran his head into an elbow. It happens in boxing, deal, expect the unexpected. Tim runs his career, makes his own decisions, employs and pays his team/corner. Tim’s decision was to take this fight, no one forced or threatened him to. He knew who he was fighting before the fight and so did his fans. Height was never seen as a treat by Tim/his fans before the fight. Both didn’t view Fundora as any real threat height and all so at that time it wasn’t a complaint. Tim’s greed got him, he counted his chicks before they hatched. Tim saw a green, skinny inexperienced kid with lots of real estate to chop at and exploit, no complaints then. Fundora hasn’t even come to his man strength yet. Tim came into the fight feeling untouchable, his fans and he never imagined that Tim actually bleeds. Cuts happen all the time, per the number one cut man in the business he said the cut was in the worst possible place. Nothing was stopping the blood. Had Tim come prepared and invest in a knowledgeable, experienced cut man then that person would have been upfront in telling Tim the bleeding isn’t going to get better and stop. They would have wisely”advised” him not to continue, Tim might have not been in the position he is currently.

Tim's got quality, no question about it, I think now would be the time to seriously look at his inexperienced management and promoters and their own agendas. Their attitude towards boxing will hold him back and prevent him from gaining fans and respect on the international stage.

Put your money where your mouth is ROSE. Make Fundora an offer he can't refuse..... Get them silent backers to pull out the dollars.

Only a ref can stop a fight after an accidental foul, it has absolutely nothing to do with any of his team or management who have done an outstanding job in getting Tim to where he is.

@@charleskent8566 only the referee can stop the fight, they can take into account recommendations from the ring doctor and the corner but the referee has the last say including ignoring the corner throwing in the towel which has happened before. Maybe you could show me in where in the WBA, WBC, WBO, IBF or Unified rules where it states otherwise?
