The only thing Lampley gets wrong here is Fundora didn't "bring his elbow down" on Tszyu's head. Tszyu literally moved his head into Fundora's elbow. I hope we see a rematch.

Regardless fights have been stopped for less….. did you see the docs face when he initially examined the cut? This is typical PBC because in two rounds Tim was landing the right at Will and busted Fundoras face up. Then a blind Tim went on to bust him up and swell both his eyes. Fundora was either highly favored by god or someone on the PBC side.

The elbow wasn't even stuck out he had it by his own ribcage. The shidy part is that it was literally after the bell and had Tszyu just eased up the last 3 seconds in anticipation of heading to his corner it would not have happened. I think Tszyu would have won this fight if he could see. You could tell those first 3 rounds he was feeling Fundora out and still winning rounds. If I'm Tszyu I'd want Spence to try and get a win and make a fat check. Fighting Bud will just be two losses in a row guaranteed but he has a shot vs Errol

He is completely right. That cut and the lost of blood conditioned and limited Tim in his performance. Loss of blood during athletic performance, such as in this boxing fight, had significant consequences on various physiological and cognitive aspects crucial for Tim's performance. Here are some potential impacts that I think as a professional impacted the result of this fight: 1. Tim's Energy Production: Blood loss reduces the oxygen-carrying capacity of the blood, which can lead to decreased aerobic energy production. This means that Tim may have experienced reduced endurance and stamina during the later rounds of the bout. Without sufficient oxygen delivery to the muscles, the body may rely more on anaerobic energy systems, leading to quicker fatigue. 2. Tim's Recovery from Fatigue: Blood loss can impair the body's ability to recover quicker from fatigue during breaks between rounds or during brief pauses in the action. Fatigue can set in more rapidly and recovery between intense bursts of activity may be compromised. 3. Tim's Clear Thought: Loss of blood can lead to reduced oxygen delivery to the brain, potentially impairing cognitive function and clarity of thought. In the high-pressure environment of a boxing match, clear thinking is essential for making split-second decisions, strategizing, and maintaining focus on technique and tactics. Impaired cognitive function can lead to slower reaction times, decreased situational awareness, and diminished overall performance. These are just a few physiological aspects to consider without considering the uncomfortable and visual impairment that blood played during the rounds since the cut. Without this cut, I think the outcome and Tim's performance would have been totally different during the second half of the fight.

@svh01 I can see you do not understand. Read again and try to grasp a tiny bit of Sports Physiology. I do not expect you to understand anyway. Tim lost at least 1 to 1.5 litters of blood since the cut (4-5 centimeters cut). That is monumental damage to his capacity for reaction time, power, clear thought, speed, recovery, etc. Again, I do not expect you to understand.

Fundora worked his ass off to finally get a title shot since Charlo wouldn't fight him, I could've sworn he was the mandatory before the loss. Tszyu is right that you have to overcome adversity in the ring if you want to become a champion. However, there are things that occur in the ring outside of boxing that tilt the advantage way too heavily in favor of one fighter and that's why certain rules are in place. Tim helped his trainer become Trainer of the Year in 2023 but his trainer cost him dearly in 2024. There's no way he should have allowed his fighter to continue on with 10 rounds ahead and blood gushing down his face and into his eyes. Take the No Decision, let Tim heal up and do it again with Fundora if that is still the fight in September-December of this year. Allowing his fighter to go on with such a massive disadvantage should almost be egregious enough to take back his 203 award. Of course the fighter is going to say he wants to fight on. A great trainer steps in and protects the fighter from himself when such rare extenuating circumstances present themselves.
