True modern folk music...can't stop listening...it resonates so much...just the fact you're willing to say "bullshit" and to swear with anger not trying to shock ....but to actually sing the angst, anxiety and desperation of the working and those that tri ed and failed at this flawed society based on money instead of love....I've been on both sides...it's a razors edge trying to stay afloat in n an uncaring, self centered world...this is one of the most important and beautiful songs of this time...
A couple year ago I did not understand this song, now as an adult it makes much more sense.
Working class is the best... Never look down on what We are... Whit out us nothing should get build... No cars.. No house... Nothing We could work on offices if we wanted... These lyrics hit me like a gut punch. Been working at this job for over a decade. I'm no more valued than the copier or the printer. Bosses don't care about us. This struggle just to eat and keep the lights on never ends. And we gotta keep working. But thankfully at least I have a job. Some of my brothers out here have it really hard. This song is very, very true.
