Allan is watching from somewhere and is very proud

What's great is that he definitely has an obvious Holdsworth influence, but it's clear he's not trying to completely cop Allan's sound. He has his own voice. He took some of Allan's ideas and is just doing his own thing with it.

Allan mentioned him in Guitar Player April 2008. I remembered it just awhile back and went and looked up the music. It definitely fills a void for me & it’s fresh. All Tim’s albums are winners. ✅

Tim shares the musical DNA of Allan Holdsworth - brilliant!
I really like how the guitar sits. It just looks so comfortable to play.
Simply amazing!!! Such beautiful playing!!!
one of the best in this business. to me the best guitarist alive.
This is one of my faves from this album. The band is great as well. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Thank you!
Great job. Beautiful solo… This song reminds a bit me of Zarabeth by Allan Holdsworh…
Already a legend
Beautiful phrasing & composition, VERY tasty stuff Tim & stellar work from Nate & Sam👌
mind = blown
So beautiful! Calm and harmonically profound playing contrasts with permanently moving and pulsating groove (Nate Wood and Sam Minaie -wow!)...and it fits perfectly together! Thank You!!
one of the most satisfying to listen to guitar sounds..
My teacher and forever inspiration!
Love the production here! Music is top notch as always as well

Thanks! Steve Hunt mixed and mastered this recording.
What a tone !
Beautiful playing!
Love the 🎹-like cluster chords and melody lines (and that chimey Holdsworth tone), then the awesome solo .... wow!
I really like that composition and hearing you play it on the new Tim Miller signature Kiesel. Thanks for posting that!

@@TimMillerGuitarIt’s always a pleasure!
You’re a saviour! There’s ten thousand bad holdsworth copycats out there who have the notes but lack the feel. Not saying that you’re a copycat because your music is unique but you got the notes and the feel. 🙏🙏
this tune has taken me to another place
That acoustic sounding tone is amazing! How do you achieve that?
Beautiful track, love the chords and the solo.
I'm working this one out as we speak.....🎶🎸 Pretty sure I'll have it down by 2040
Just wow!👏… yeah, there’s the Holdsworth influence, but your touch is so incredible - such beautiful harmony! Been a fan for many years. I have a M6 on order (with the Autumn burst😉, and a few options). Beautiful guitar - been enjoying watching you play it to get a feel for the tonal possibilities. Love the A2 Beryllium pickups! Best wishes!
One of my favorites!
Awsome track. Couldn't do it better myself 😉
Brilliant!
Bravo!

Amazing. It is always a joy to hear you play and watch the well made videos. And huge kudos to drums and bass too. Intelligent note choices from bass and groove for days from drums. You are a joy to listen to!

Nice chord voicings. I was able to get lost in the music and not think about theory... until the song ended haha.
Thanks for all Tim ❤
Great legato...
amazing. how does he get that acoustic wood tone alongside the amp sound? It’s everything I love about guitar and music 🙌🏽👏🏽

My next Kiesel will definitely be the TM M6! Nice well considered work as always, Tim! Whats the signal chain/gear you use in studio& live?
Audio engineer is Steve Hunt... I assume he's the AH buddy Mr. Hunt. Cool.

I wondered that too!
I think players go nuts with non-functional harmony where every chord is a non-sequitur and the melody lines seem designed to intentionally stress people out but you manage to capture the beauty of these choices that are unconventional but still make sense and are in service of connecting with the listener. I see people making Holdsworth comparisons, but those comparisons do a disservice to everyone and I like this playing much more.
@fusionfan6883

Why on earth is a Holdsworth comparison a disservice, you should be honoured???
@lex.cordis

@@fusionfan6883 Seriously. Holdsworth was/is the most beautiful, melodic, and other-worldly player/composer to have ever lived. Holdsworth was music itself incarnated. Nothing about him was "non-sequitur."

That's a beautiful instrument there. Semi hollow looks like..?.. is this the same brand as plini uses ?

Plini plays a Strandberg Boden. Tim here is using a Kiesel M6. Both gorgeous guitars.

@jaffasam11 ok... thank you.. I heard of these guitars for sure. But I'm 54 and my day. Was a les paul or a 335 or super strat Kramer or Ibanez and etc. Keisel I have mixed emotions about. But I will check out the other one here
@Aerlioz

@@scottykingdavid i was going to get a 335 but now, ive decided on the M6. Headless guitars have just been convinient entirely. Today’s instrument for studied guitarists in my opinion. Check it out!

It's not a proper English ⬆️
Fabulous complex composition and chord movement. Such clean skill in both hands. I'd have preferred development of a slower theme in the solo and more understated drums, but mastery nonetheless.
