Michael Malone who's the coach of the nuggets said this about Jokic: "I never coached Tim Duncan. But Nikola is the closest thing I've ever seen in all the years in basketball that I have coached to Tim Duncan. Just like Tim he does his thing." And he does it very very well. But he also has a team around him that understand what he does.

In that Series we got to see the final form of nuggets basketball, because whatever the anybody says the Lakers played their absolute best and the nuggets had to show us their absolute best to beat the lakers. Just turns out the Nuggets at 100% will beat the lakers at 100% not easily but still decisively. I fear the heat isn`t good enough to make the nuggets and mainly the Joker show us how amazing they can be.

Jokic did what he was supposed to do as the center early in the game. He rebounded, got everyone else involved with his passing and protected the basket. He then provided points as needed down the stretch, while staying out of the way of his play makers throughout the entire game.He knows he's not a guard and doesn't clog the lanes that they use or occupy the space that they need to make plays! Take notes Embid!"

As a miami heat fan i honestly think that this will end 4-1 denver winning the championship. 1st they dont have the size to guard jokic, 2nd heats bruteforce defence is nullified by denvers ball movement 3rd jimmy buckets has porter guarding him which is a bad match up for his midrange shooting being smaller 4th. Those undrafted players have reached their limit already by being defended accordingly.

Jokic reminding me of Shaq during the Lakers 3peat in 2000-2002. If Shaq got doubled, he made the right pass to the open guy. IF Shaq had 1v1 matchup he would take a quick dribble or two then attack. Didn't matter Shaq was too skilled. And then Murry a la Kobe dominating as a 1 2 deadlly punch - driving, shooting, cutting, hitting 3s.

Tim needs to have his own show so ESPN would know those yelling niggas are a thing of the past, JJ used to be good but too bad he has joined those clowns on First Take and starts yelling and screaming as well.

@@DamianBadalamenti true. They could build it like the Spurs. Put two high level star players around a legendary player, then surround that group with solid role players with high basketball IQ. Either way, Denver fans should be very excited. They will be in the championship mix for next 7 years.
