He’s definitely on my bucket list of artist to get tattooed by. I just crossed off Oliver Peck two days ago when he tattooed my shin.

Tim talking at the end made me realize one thing that makes tattooing so special... What other visual art can you experience with such an intimate proximity? It's even better than holding up a canvas while Bob Ross paints on it. It's so personal on so many levels. I managed a shop as a kid, and I so miss bearing witness to incredible artists using their gift, honing their gift, and even taking a roll in the process! It really is like nothing else! I'm forever grateful to have had that experience!!!

Growing up poor, if you can come out of it ok, is one of the most valuable lessons you could have in life. (school of hard knocks) !

I think it's amazing that a lot of these really awesome tattoo artists started out as scratchers pretty much. Get the tattoo industry today tries to discourage anybody from learning. I think that if one of these guys opened up some sort of tattoo School it would be a hit I would love to learn from one of these guys

this bullshit "us" and "them" mentality is the shit that will ultimately destroy the tradition/game. Good job, guys. You will be remembered as the selfish, calling the industry oversaturated artists who basically turned their backs on the career that gave them so much. FTW right man?
