Aaron threw down some ink on me in the mid nineties. After watching this interview, it's not surprising how his business has thrived. Still the humble laid back dude, that lets his work do the talking. 25 years later and still have never seen a better leg piece. Guess I'm bias though.

interviews would be more interesting if showed artists work periodocally thruout interview. then folks unfamiliar with his work will appreciate the interview/artist so much more

It might sound like bitching when he talks about the increase in tattoo artists but just go around fucking Tempe into one of the like six Club Tattoos chain nightmares and you'll get it. These aren't artists with a passion for a craft, they're Instagram skin stampers. Went with a friend who was getting a little sun tattooed on her ankle tried talking to him about Zeke Owens cause I'm a fucking geek, boy looks at me and says that he's only doing tattooing until his real art career takes off. Jesus. Next time I'm in Phoenix I need to check out this shop cause damn I thought there just wasn't any really parlors left in the area.
