Granted off cuff he's not directly to blame for everything but acting like he did nothing is wrong. Some would say he (implying Hyde and everyone he worked with on world peace) was funnier and Tim acted out of spite to rid of competition but of course out of all consumers of comedy we know more than others it's subjective. As far as the "cReEpY" claim goes it's easily flipped against the whole "yOu JuSt DoN't GeT tHe HuMoUr" most T and E fans (me being one in my younger years) say to support them. We all know our sense of comedy is f***ed compared to mainstream. Both funny ass guys buuuuuuuuuuuuut we've all seen the blacklisted documentary about the situation. Lots of suspicious backpedaling, acting cornered from T etc etc... Hyde and his boys no doubt bit off T and E's style but factually, and almost indisputably, a lot of people would say they enhanced what they built and in some/most times did it better. Healthy competition would've made them both better in my opinion yet look where they both are now. Hyde making bookoos off the most ridiculously edgy videos on gumroad and Tim did what? those fake movie reviews where he acts as a vaping pretentious a**hole movie reviewer? That fake court case thing? (please link a clip of when electric sun was funny if u reply) Big missed opportunity on both fronts. they both should've had big network deals for much longer than they got. Just imagine the two fighting for viewers. Think of the colabs we missed out on and think of the marketing or $$$ for Turner, loss all around for us and big network guys. Being short lived doesn't mean they were any less and in some cases such as this one it would imply foul play. Originality doesn't define perfection. Sometimes others come thru and enhance an original idea which I think is something both I and many other Hyde fans could easily argue. Long story short I'm just out here beating a very dead rotting corpse of a horse that shouldn't have ever been killed. Abso-lutely.

I see you do have reasonable points here, and you followed this story and put some thoughts into it. But I don't think Heidecker have that much power like some say, or the "get rid of the competition" thing is a little too much in my opinion. I think he just did noting to "save" him. Some of Hyde fans were also posting creepy stuff on Tim's social media apparently ? Personally i can understand the beef between the two. One could argue that Hyde was kinda searching for troubles being a jerk with people and all. From what i understood he made lots of ennemies in adult swim and elsewhere talking shit with many. That could also explain in parts what happened (this and a journalist hating his political stance). I don't think the guy should have been cancelled for his political opinions obviously, but that's murica for ya i guess. Still, Hyde can be a real jerk. For the "enhancement" thing i don't know. I think many of his comedy clips are pretty pompous (his famous TED thing was not funny or smart to me for example), you could say it's all irony but yeah, come on.... Also, i can't help noticing that almost all of Hyde fans i spoke too had the similar ideology and/or conspiracy type beliefs ( the great replacement, the so called anti white propaganda in show business, generic right wing stuff etc). It's almost like if they were behind him for political reasons and not for his comedy per se. Regarding Heidecker now, i enjoyed the Halloween shorts for example. And for "on cinema at cinema", it took me some times to appreciate it but once you're into it, it's pretty good i assure you ! You have to enter this new universe tho and the "tempo" and "flavor" of the whole thing is quiet different yes, but give it a chance again if you have the time. Anyway, let's not make a fuss about it, these are just opinions about comedians we like (or not) but it's not like this "scandal" is that important in the end. Respect to you for being civil and being reasonable in your contrapoints friend, take care and i send you millions of dollars... of peace from France :)
