Wow...Tim Hawkins is so talented and musically gifted. He can play so many different instruments and he's got a great voice too!!! Damn, I'm impressed!!!

A true genius in his art and a gift to all that take the time to hear him.

I got to see Tim a couple years ago!! He's truly a legend!!

I love the music while he's tuning. I was in a band and whenever someone needed to tune, the rest of the band played the Peter Gunn theme song.

Saw Tim in person a few years ago, I dare say the funniest man alive! And I appreciate his guitar skills, as I am actually on the praise and worship team!

I have had too many times where just giving stuff a hard whack got things going again, everything from my guitar amp to the entire PA to the USB brick feeding the live stream audio on Sunday morning :D

Yeah the man can play a guitar really well and he is funny as all get out I have a video of him about 10 years ago and he was funny then too

He can play anything on a guitar and do it well. Sad not many people know about him and his comedy/musical talents. I am surprised he has not made a few christian songs. He would do well. The only thing that has changed about him over the years is the length of his hair.

Sultans of Swing really separates real players from wanna bes. It is so difficult to get the rhythm that drives the song like Mark does, but Tim pretty much nails it.

As a comedian... great, love him! As a musician, awesome fun. But every ones saying he displayed some amazing guitar talent, but the reality is this is nothing more then basic armature guitar, especially when playing something pre written, as his played riffs/songs are stuff most musicians practice and play within their first year or two (i was one and have been around those and taught those learning). Im not trying to downplay or be rude... I LOVE tim hawkins. But give him credit where his credit is due, its his artistic ability to blend humor and rock n roll into a fusion that many can enjoy! Hes blended many of rock and humor over the years. But the guitar skill seen here are basic level.. His gift is his personality and energy! Keep on rocking brother! And keep us laughing as long as you can!

So yea i can say his guitar skills are not amazing....This isnt debatable, go to school and learn it, and you will see.... Simply youtube epic guitar skills and pick a random video.... I was talking just about his guitar physcial skills. That dosnt take away from his talent........ What does his money, friends etc... have to do with how good he is at guitar?? To say i have resentment and need counseling?? I admire his energy and love his shows... Learn to articulate and comprehend a sentance before you respond with such dumbfound intelligence and resort to insulting a person for no reason... like another one of your own comments and continue on with your life idiot.

Even though the people who sing at church and play instruments are good at what they do does not mean that they should receive the praise! The purpose of going to church is to Give God all The Praise and Honor!!

Using your logic, you shouldn’t comment to your Priest/Pastor/Spiritual Leader that you enjoyed the service. I understand what you are saying, but God gave those who choose to play/sing at services a gift that they are choosing to use to honor God. Telling them they play well is acknowledging the gift God gave them.

@@scottiemon9036 my religion is that of the Christian way, and I have an excellent relationship with my God. I believe that God gives gifts, and allows those with those gifts to shine. I believe if he takes something away, He will show me a way from that closed door. There is no harm in encouraging them to shine their light brightly and to encourage others to do the same. And no, I did not miss your word “might”. Apparently my religion is more tolerant of others shining along with God.

We, as believing Christians, absolutely enjoy our Freedom, our fun, our prosperity, our talents to share.
