Horray got 2 with the Rockets 3 with the Lakers and 2 with the Spurs. He said once I am fortunate to play with the best 3 big men in the NBA of their time. He was talking about Hakeem Al Alajwan. Shaquille O'neal, and Tim Duncan.

Sorry but no. Duncan set the tone by keeping the Wallace's busy killing them down low. Don't let his inefficient fg % full you he was outworking both Wallace's and getting put backs off his own misses. He was killing them down low and constantly putting them in found trouble. He absorbed all that physical contact on 2 sprained ankles. Ginobili feasted off of 1 on 1's or wide open lanes and shots. Also Ginobili played terrible on the road

Oh yeah, that Pistons team of the 2000s was all ball. They made it to the Eastern Conference Finals eight years in a row from 2001-2008, back-to-back Finals in 2004 and 2005. Beat the heavily favored Kobe-Shaq-Karl Malone-Gary Payton Lakers in five games en route to Detroit's third championship in franchise history and their first in 15 years. And they gave the Spurs a real run for their money in '05 by winning Game 6 in San Antonio after the Spurs took Game 5 in Detroit. Classic professional basketball.

And having 6 in 8 years. With all the power houses that were in west, Spurs was the team of the 2000s, hands down.

I remember the series really well as well as all their other series and although all the guys did great, including the bench players, got to get them credit there was no doubt mono really made the biggest difference they had absolutely no answer from Virgin nobody I mean he torched them throughout the whole series they just have no stopping him he was like the Argentinian version of Kobe

The strenght of TD on the 76-77 basket. Horry was the unexpected hero of this game but look at how amazing still natural was Duncan game. And during this series he went against the Wallaces, two of the best big men defenders not only of that era.

Yea for real. TP9 will likely last another year or tops 2 years and then hang it up. It's sad that he went to Charlotte. He'll always be a Spur to me.

Not as painful as Horry doing it again in Game 7... THAT was painful! At least with Game 5 we had more games to play. I firmly believe that Horry draining both of those 3s is why the Pistons are so awful now.

Elton Francis Nope still taking Horry he didn't miss game winners trust me i watched all the playoff games of the 2000's era. If you left him open and you were late on the rotation he was draining it. Some players have a specific role and that was his role, he beat a couple teams i was rooting for in the playoffs by draining clutch 3's. Im talking clutch im not talking throughout the game jacking trickshot 3's up.

@Elton Francis What's your point superstars can make it happen no matter what. Ask Larry Bird or Jordan or Kareem.

@Elton Francis Kareem hit two free throws that ultimately won them game 6 of the 87 Finals and then they went on to win the Series in 7. Bird stole the ball from an inbounding Piston and hit a layup to steal a a game at home vs Detroit in the playoffs which ended up with them going to the Finals.
