My wife and I saw Carol Burnett live numerous times. The stories she told about Tim Conway were extremely funny. The story about the exploding Q Tip box had the audience laughing hysterically for almost 10 minutes before she was able to continue. He was an extremely funnyman, may he rest in peace.

I was hoping that he'd do the interview with the paper dispenser on his lap...and Conway didn't disappoint

Honest, I wasn’t expecting that! I thought he would’ve cut it! 😂😂😂
Why can't we trade the Kardashians in and bring back Johnny?

When he walked out with the dispenser...lol.
Ah johnny so much miss him. No politics just a straight good funny show. This is what late night TV is suppose to be.

Because Republicans weren't such hilarious buffoons in those days. Beginning with George Bush, and then Sarah Palin, and now the greatest of all buffoons, Chump, they are just comedy gold that can't be ignored. If Chump existed in Carson's day he DEFINITELY would have done his whole monologue on him.

No politics??? Carson's nightly monologue joked on politicians constantly. You must not have ever seen the show.

@@heetcrusher2880 - But you made it sound as if Carson never brought up politics, which is anything but true. It was a regular staple in his monologues. He had a field day especially during scandals, like Watergate, Iran Contra, briberies, etc. And even when there weren't big scandals going on, he joked about presidents and Congress. Even ragged on Dan Quayle the last couple of weeks before he retired. Playback almost any random monologue of his from the 70s straight through the end, and you'll hardly find one where political figures aren't mentioned. It's not that your comment wasn't nice, but it was completely inaccurate.
Johnny and Tim Two of the very best
Tim Conway was the best. Even as Barnacle Boy, just hilarious.

Who wanted to be known as Barnacle MAN or he'd join the forces of EVIL!! Genius is a shallow word.
I love it when a guest makes Johnny genuinely crack up / laugh out loud. Tim and Johnny together is a great combo (like every time Dorf made an appearance).
Intelligent comedy like this is sadly missed.

Comedy is a reflection of society.
conway was one of the funniest men in the biz
Tim Conway's version of the seventh commandment:' "Thou shalt not supplement thy marriage".
Tim Conway's punchline at the end of his story brings the house down.
Rip Mr Carson Miss you

Stagehand Kevin looked a little like Christopher Reeve (Superman). 😊

Da King of Late amor 🥃
First time seeing this one. Pure genius
That was a cameo by stage manager Kevin Quinn. His father was Bobby Quinn, the show's director.
Hilarious!
That's just like the big-hearted hero Tim we've come to know and love. There Tim is considering the self-sacrificial act, to try and save 281 people, of letting her fall on his sword.
TIM , TIES & TOWELS. JHONNY CARSON. DOING HIS. SHOW FROM THE MENS ROOM. 😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅
Sounds like Tim was telling about a fantasy he had instead of a joke (or they are one i n the same).😅😂
👍😆😅😂😂😂😅😂 Don't remember this. 😅😂😅😅😅
And I love you

good thing certain people don't work at a nuclear power plant; or launch facility.
Numb feet
♥♥♥ “Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you believe in Him so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.” ~ Romans 15:13
saying it without saying it is funnier than saying it. TV used to be creative and funny. Now, it's mostly neither.
Tim should have sued
I'm sure he was a great guy, but I never got the tim conway thing, nor the whole carol burnette scene. Just not my cup of tea.
Sorry to have to say this but, isn't stupidity doing the same thing over and over, and expecting a difference outcome? Well Conway kept pulling that lever, releasing and wasting all of those paper towels, and nothing different even happened! He should have just asked for a pair of scissors and Cut His Lousy Tie for Crimeny Sakes! Man it sure takes all kinds!
Great bit
