I went to this expecting a mess after all the social media comments. It’s actually very good and she is very committed to the dance. Not sure about it getting 9s but it was very good and very enjoyable.

The marking is so inconsistent this year in my opinion.

Nikita is such a great teacher he's done an amazing job teaching Tilly

The Paso Doble, like the Tango, should be dramatic and passion-filled, Tilly and Nikita did a great job!

Nikita is a fantastic dancer

Having watched it a second time I think Tilly did a pretty solid job on this dance. I would love to see her do this dance again in a few weeks if she continues in the show. This is a really solid basis for an excellent PD. Such a hard dance with limited steps.

Chorography is everything. She looks 😊

Great posture from Tilly. My favourite dance from these 2 so far.

Problem was I couldn't stop watching Nikita. This is the first time I've been like 😳 at him. His confidence in this dance 😳

I agree, its why some of the other couples are doing better. Katya: "Really strong? How about a complicated set of intricate lifts". Johannes: "I better be the one lifted as a professional dancer it will be easier for myself to adjust my technique". Graziano: "your sassy, lets sprinkle that personality into the dance". Etc.

I thought Matilda certainly was fierce and hit some lovely Spanish lines but I'm with Craig on this it was a bit too much stop and start for me, I just felt they could've let this dance flow more continuously but overall not bad.

I'm glad to see a few other people confused by the high marks tilly keeps getting.I never feel any emotion coming through any of her dances, it's only when she gets some criticism she looks like she is going to cry and then one of the female judges have to over praise and over mark her to cheer her up. She's OK? But 9s???

I have to agree and it's nothing personal to Tilly but they clearly didn't apply it's week 4 now to her marks. Craig was spot on while this looked good it wasn't executed well her finishing needed to be much tighter also a couple of timing issues. This was never a 9 like her Charleston feel her dances are overmarked.

noel I think she's a reasonable dancer, with a lot of good things to comment on...but it does her no good for judges to pretend it's one mark off perfection

I liked this but I was expecting more, she has the skills.

definitely a really good base, she's got awesome paso facials, just needs to be a bit stronger throughout her body, but that comes with confidence. She's got some solid potential!

Really confused by them consistently overscoring Tilly. It wasn't a bad effort but I think it's difficult to say, in good faith, that she deserved the score she got - particularity compared to some of the others

@@tiagoodman5654 Rose was underwhelming and lacked energy and deserved the scores she got. She’s not great at Latin compared to Ballroom. Tilly was better, it was a good paso. Not a 9 worthy, but certainly 7s and 8s.

Loved it but Craig was right it was blocky if she had more fluidity, it would of been amazing x

I am wowed by the set up of this dance I think it elevated the dance which really helped Tilly. Great choreography from Nikita and even her solo work looked like it had meaning and purpose. I do think she could dance through her body more especially with more power in her legs. This holding back approach can also be down to Tilly building up her core. These points I think will be improved with the more she dances! I’m excited for what this couple could offer us! 8!

I mean, that's what Craig and Bruno were. They learned what to look for by watching. Neither had any experience of actually dancing ballroom and latin. Are you going to say they have no right to an opinion? Maybe you are a big fan of Tilly, and that's fine, but this dance wasn't worth a nine.

Choreography was amazing. I wished though, her body movements matched the burning intensity on her face because it would have taken the dance to another level. Lost shaping in hands throughout dance. 6

This was good, Craig was off on one tonight. Fierce, Passionate and difficult but executed well. 7/10

Score: *7* Okay, the execution was there! The Spanish lines were there! However, like Adam's Rumba last week it was like "oooh a PD, okay". I didn't feel the emotion from it. In addition, I do agree with Craig with having a bit more consistency with the movement as mess up with the fluidity of the dance. With that being said, the dance was still good!!! NOT A 6 but at least a 7 or an 8!!

I don't know what the hell Craig was watching, this was great! The attack, the determination, the character of the dance, she did so good! Yeah it could be stronger and more passionate, but she's never danced before! She did amazingly. I think she's gonna be the dark horse of the competition. Loved the music too. I wish Nikita would do something about his hair though, it annoys the crap out of me lol.

Craig got it right imo

A bit stompy in parts and this is a common feature of beginner and novice dancers, as they believe that they need to stamp down on the floor, rather than to execute a controlled forcible lowering of the heel on the Appel. I would have liked her to use her back more and really ooze into those lines and drive off the standing foot to get the body flight, but there was some nice content and plenty of confidence from Tilly and, so far, this has been my favourite routine of theirs to watch.

gotta say i agreed with craig. i watched the same dance as him, mosti tilly does have skills, but this dance didn't really flow. it does get (slightly) better on second viewing, but there is still something missing. it still feels a bit messy and jumpy. but 6.5/7 from me. she is clearly a judges' favourite, but i wish they weren't so biased, especially since we're going on to week five

My personal favourite of night a lot of people are saying it was oversocred but I think it was scored fine 9/10

A good performance but I actually thought it was a bit overmarked.

I really liked this. Surprised people didn't but maybe I'm a little biased because it's sweet how grown up she looks and just how out of her comfort zone it seems. I don't know, I was impressed.

Firery! Some great shapes and lines to accompany some very strong footwork. Would have liked the dance to flow a bit more rhythmically. 8

UN CELEBZ GASHERRY

I absolutely loved this. I'm a sucker for strictly ballroom traditional Paso so this was right up my street. Beautiful syncopated stalking walks, very fast promanade, good shaping and definition in the flamenco and some beautiful lines. The story was beautiful, I saw no mistakes at all. Her flexibility has come a long way. This was as good as the Charleston imo. Craig totally lost it here. Its one of my favourite Paso's in recent years as there hasn't been too many. I want more of this please and their chemistry is very hot 🔥🔥🔥 *9/10* should have been at least 34 anyway :/

Don't get me wrong, this dance was good. But 9s - really? I would have given it a 7 personally. Didn't really flow all that well, despite her great shaping and all of the solo and flamenco stuff, which was all well executed. But it could have been much sharper - the energy level wasn't high enough for me.

Oooo!! Well done, Tilly!!! Confident enough to do a solo. A few mistakes here and there, but a huge improvement from last week. Definitely powerful and dramatic, she really brought the character. It was nicely choreographed and she got better and better dsncing through it. I just don't know what else to say, I loved it. She didn't let me down again and smashed my favourite dance. But two 9s? I'll take since I liked it, but, I don't think so. Too much.

I really can't decide on this one and pretty much agree with a lot of the comments below - the good and the not so good. I love this piece of music and thought the choreography was brilliant, as was some of the dancing. But there was certainly something lacking that I can't quite put my finger on - it was a bit disjointed I think and didn't flow as well as it could have, and perhaps some more of that good old paso passion wouldn't have gone amiss. Nonetheless, credit where it's due, a great routine and certainly a damn side better that I could have done!

She was called chubby by a dj. Well yes she is carrying a few pounds but very pretty

Don’t get me wrong I enjoyed their dance however can’t help but feel like it was overmarked. I’ve noticed this a few times actually, specifically with this pairing. I felt a 9 was a bit generous for this dance but I suppose I’m not a judge. The scoring has seemed quite inconsistent to me this series and I find the judges get more lenient as the show goes on which disadvantages the couples going earlier.

YK C But you're not a judge either? And someone who has done a paso could mean an 80 year old learning for the first time at a local dance hall, or all the way up to a world champion. Specifics help before you claim authority to a subjective opinion.

I think it’s easy to think this is good mainly because the choreography is very good. The problem really was the inconsistency, she’d do something brilliant followed by something … not so brilliant and as a whole it just leaves me confused. The backbend at 0:36? Absolutely beautiful. But the set of twist turns that immediately followed? Not so much. It’s almost like she needs to believe she can do it, because she really can.

7 Hmmm. I loved the attack and drama they created, however, I wasn't so keen on the routine as a whole. It felt a little bit placed and even forced. They didn't really perform with all that much conviction. It felt like a lot of thrown away and sharp movements to me. Maybe I'm being a tad harsh. She played the character well though and obviously technically extremely clean (just a bit too neat and tidy for my liking). Good job

Totally overmarked

Tilly certainly had the determination and the attack in her eyes! She totally went for it! I wanted to see more stylization in the arms (more rounded shapes and more flamenco movement), I wanted to see much more shaping and it was really missing the tilted hip action. Tilly's posture was too still for this dance, she didn't have that "banana shape", she didn't bring her hips forward at all... she did have a brilliant sense of rhythm though, her lines were very clean, her partnership with Nikita was lovely, and I saw some glimpses of proper Paso Doble technicality but I surely wasn't enough for me. My score: a 6.
