kai did an impeccable job with this viennese waltz choreography which as craig said, can be difficult to maintain a dynamic and storytelling. aj is just a beautiful dancer with beautiful poise. guaranteed finalists in my book FOR SURE. :)

What I find so special about these two is that AJ is actually dancing, she's not thinking about the moves, rather she's totally lost in them. Compare it to Sara, who you can see is fighting her inner inhibitions, there is an awkwardness to her, a constant thought process played out in her movements. AJ has blasted through that mental and physical barrier, she's proper dancing now!!

Again underscored. The only dance that was underproduced as well, no set design and little effort for the costumes. Thank goodness their dancing doesn't need any of the shenanigans, definitely my favorite couple.

What do they need to do to get a freaking 40! They are immaculate! Technique, choreo, character, chemistry the full whack! I forget she isn’t a pro!

This is stil on a higher level than everything else on intensity. You believe and feel the story.

For me the best couple, the best dance, and I will keep waiting for the kiss 😂😂😂😂

I absolutely agree. AJ started with no dance experience and I’m all for a happy and fair result. I think Rose will win. AJ will be a strong runner up. I really hope for once 🤞 I’m wrong!

Ohhh, that was beautiful!! Greek Mythology buff here, they really blessed this routine and embodied the mythology of Medusa into this choreography! It was a perfect representation of the story of Medusa and they told it well. Such a unique Viennese Waltz! Their spins! So, soooo mesmerising! It had me in a trance! And that move when the man spins the girl on the floor... They did a lot more with it and I love it!! What a delightfully unique routine! They are such beautiful dancers!

They deserved 10s. Always undermarked. She is a fabulous dancer and Kai can perform any dance with her and it looks tremendous.

Vienesse is my favourite dance, this was spectacular, her fleckle was *chefs kiss* and the song choice makes this 10x better

My favourite couple this year. I don't know anything about the dance but it looked flawless.

If the celeb can't dance, there isn't much a pro can do. She is actually super talented and would have these results regardless.. He is a good choreographer, but her talent speaks for itself. That's why one of the judges said she would be a pro dancer if she started earlier in life and that she has championship level feet..

Kai seems like such a great choreographer and AJ is phenomenal. I love them 💜

OH OK I THINK I MIGHT BE IN LOVE WITH AJ SERIOUSLY HER MOVEMENTS WERE SO FLUID AND HER COSTUME WAS SO BEAUTIFUL

Fabulous, fabulous dance as always. My winners from week 1 and my favourite ever partnership on Strictly! I feel like they go under the radar a bit because the public are so behind Rose and Giovanni (rightfully so as they are also brilliant!) but AJ is such a good dancer, especially considering she was a complete novice, and her confidence in her performance ability has grown so much which has been great to see! AJ and Kai are the only ones whose dances I watch over and over again because for me they are just a cut above the rest! I can't wait for their Charleston!

10 My first Ten of the series! This was just perfect imo. The routine, storytelling, CHEMISTRY, footwork, frame and posture. Aj has clearly worked hard on all the tiny details that were missing from her previous ballroom dances. Loved the effortless rotation but also the section at the end was very clever: a perfect mix for a captivating dance. I have to disagree with some of the judges as I don't think there was anything wrong with her top-line or feet (other than them being naturally turned out, and even then that didn't really bother me in this dance). Fantastic!

I had to watch this 4 times in a row before I could even comment. First of all, I normally find the Viennese Waltz deathly dull to watch. But this! This! Oh my goodness, such amazing choreography and dancing with the perfect song. AJ, who are you? You're a true dancer. Then the guitarist on the song? Who is that and who arranged the music? And the vocalists sang the heck out of this song. I loved this so much. You are on the way to winning this show. You deserve to.

I absolutely love watching these two dance, fantastic chemistry! It's hard to believe that AJ has not danced before when she smashes it week after week 😍 I wish I could dance like that!!

AJ could easily be trained as a professional ballroom dancer. Kai is an amazing coach. They perform in unity and grace the versatility in technique. I think that they can be strong competitors to Rose and Giovanni and John an Johannes It is such a joy to see all these dedicated dancers.

I’m so torn because I want them to win but I also want John and Johannes to win. Ultimately, these two haven’t had a bad performance and their chemistry is the best I’ve seen on Strictly plus AJ’s personality is great. Let’s see if Kai wins on his first time doing Strictly!

It is shame they couldn't magic up 4 x10's. I don't know what the judges saw to mark them down🤔

I enjoyed the drama and smooth movement of this one so much that I didn't even notice her frame was not quite right until the judges pointed it out at the end! (At which point I re-watched and obviously, they were right). Maybe disguised a bit by the hair. Really love this pair.

Craig is totally right Viennese Waltz can be incredibly boring and this was anything but that. The song helped this dance be dramatic too. The floorspin and fleckel were perfect and I like the aggression and passion AJ always gives but she doesn't go ott with it. It's always hard to maintain body contact at Halloween due to the costumes usually not being suitable for that but they managed and I loved the mythology twist on it and I think more Viennese Waltz's should be like this. I've been missing pivots this year as there doesn't seem to be as many (probably because Anton is gone xD) and those slick section of pivots was refreshing to see. Really good charscter and theme and AJ's best dance yet. I thought it was amazing *10/10*
