If you are going to build a house for your own living. Go for Marble Only. Yes, Marble requires grinding and polishing after installation, but Marble is much more durable and it's also good heat conductor. Tiles have more design options , installation is easy , but you cannot build home every other day. Go For Marble

Off topic question, but can you please recommend some construction companies in Lahore who can be reliable picks for remodelling 5 marla houses? By remodelling I mean structural changes to the house e.g removing/moving load-bearing walls to extend rooms. So work that requires very careful assessments about safety and then reliable execution as well. Thank you very much for the great content you put out.

Salaam. Actually recommending any company is a bit of a liability that how will they do your house. Maybe they have worked well somewhere else but might not be using the same team at your project. So, i would suggest that keep me out of this responsibility :) and shortlist one out of 3-4 companies

AA, I searched through your channel but couldn't find any video on the topic of "load bearing structures vs framed structures". As you know it's quite trendy now to go for a framed structure so we will really be grateful if you can make a detailed video on pros/cons and cost comparisons of load bearing and framed structures. If there is already a video available on this topic then can you please provide it's link here. I am following your channel for more than one year now while planning for my own home. framed structure is not trendy it is essential and that is the only best and solid way. in karachi all constructions are framed houses for over 8 decades. only people who cant afford or people looking for short cuts or want temporary solution go for load bearing walls.

Take a hammer and chisel and start breaking lines along the wall where you need wires, and install outlets and then plaster with fresh cement and paint over it. Next option is to demolish the house and build a new one with concealed wiring.
