I've been listening to these guys for 9 years and I can't believe Guy's voice is coming out of that man's mouth. It literally looks like Tim put on a different outfit, split the frame, and had himself dubbed over.

I pulled this video up just to figure out what Griffin was going on about with the caterpillar talk at the end, and I WAS NOT disappointed to figure out that it was Justin sneaking a vape. 10/10

Have we considered that the movie is not a movie at all, and that instead Paul is in a cycle of rebirth wherein each time we rewatch the movie he, in real time, is reborn and must once again overcome this ordeal?

They can totally leverage the successor role on their kids like the threat of Santa Claus. "If you don't behave I WILL name you as my successor for the Death Blart Podcast."

I am thankful for these five scholars subjecting themselves to PBMC2 for our amusement! See y'all next year!

I asked them at their Comic Con Q&A panel this year about death blart things forgetting about the strike and I THINK my question might have been the first moment they realized that them not doing the podcast was a possibility this year and Griffin's panic was extremely palpable. Sorry for giving y'all such a scare!

@@Poplopo I think I lightly considered breaking the vow for that but in the end I knew it was something I could never undo. If I watch this film, I'll never again experience the weirdness of having a movie I've never seen described so passionately every year.

the bad afterlife that guy purposes is actually fucking chilling. the bird is perpetually bleeding out, the cold, blue stars above never move, and you're just kinda there to reflect on your actions for eternity. can you IMAGINE the ice that would shoot thru your veins when the piano man stands up, looks at the dying bird, looks back at you, says "that wasn't the solution" AND THEN FUCKING VANISHES?? AND TAKES THE ABILITY FOR THINGS TO CHANGE WITH HIM??? the fiction created by these good good boys is evocative as hell and UTTERLY terrifying.

Merry Blartmas! I was so optimistic that maybe the email had been recovered and I sent a sincere theory about Footlocker. Gonna have to send it to just all emails for other shows for everyone because I need this theory shared.

Genuine question because I'm actually confused: why would the SAG-AFTRA strike prohibit them from making Death Blart this year? As I understood it, SAG members on strike couldn't act in or promote new material, and Paul Blart Mall Cop 2 came out in 2015.

Justin's wife Dr. Sydnee McElroy definitely knows that, I think it was mostly a commentary on the fact that hypoglycemia doesn't exactly manifest in the way it is shown in the movie.
