That's the inherent vulnerability of a system which claims to be capitalist but allowed wealthy lobbyists to hire legislators to make a code of laws that recognizes US corporate entities as US Persons in order to form LLC's (limited liability corporations) to limit the legal liabilities they had as land Lords (this happened a long time ago) and to create taxation loopholes for their corporations. True capitalism doesn't recognize the charter of a business as a "Person," but the capitalization of democracy reduced our Republic's Constitution to little more than a toll booth on the path to creating whatever laws you wish.

The comparison is fundamentally flawed. The owners of a service can dictate what content is and is not allowed on their platform. Furthermore, free speech is only relevant when it is the government trying to limit your freedom of expression. Meanwhile, TikTok is trying to stop America's blatant market manipulation. A US Corporation is a legal entity which is legally defined as a US Person. It is extended the same rights as any US Person. This is actually an issue of whether the US will allow foreign corporate entities to own US corporate entities. I can explain how this happened. It's a fact that in a true capitalist society, a corporation isn't a person, but it is considered a US Person for legal and taxation purposes in America. This happened a long time ago when wealthy lobbyists paid legislators to create the US Commercial Code to protect their properties from legal liability (ie Limited Liability Corporations, aka LLC) and to create tax loopholes for their corporations. This system's inherent vulnerabilities lies in the fact that a communist or fascist regime with economically malicious intentions can indirectly own and operate a US corporate entity by controlling its foreign holding corporation when it's subject to their government's dictatorship.
