I personally never used the platform but my son did for a few weeks and one day I overheard a video he was watching and I saw it and it was one of the dumbest things I've ever seen so I went through his watch history and it was full of way outlandish shit and topics that children shouldn't even be exposed off like sex and genders and gay stuff. And this is KZread, an American company. So it's not only China trying to dumb down our youth, but our own government as well. I'm worried about this country, because it's not just communist countries overseas trying to take us down, but our own government within. Although I don’t have TikTok myself, I know people that do. I’ve constantly tried to get them to understand the degeneracy that occurs on that platform from people who crave attention. I post all kinds of videos on IG and my highest viewed video has nothing to do with woodworking, It is so so sad the idiotic content that people find interesting or that draws views. I have it still but made a business account just for the marketplace. A lot of people don’t use Craigslist anymore because listing cars costs $5 now. There aren’t many platforms for selling stuff online in the Midwest. Pretty much everyone uses fascistbook

I think I'd make it so my kid couldn't get it on any device in my home. Then I'd tell them they'll thank me one day.

Tik Tok installed itself on my phone one day. I never downloaded it, never looked it up, never used the app, nothing. After updating some apps I noticed a few days later that the app was installed on phone. Got rid of it quickly.

I just saw a video of a kid on tiktok talking about how what we're paying in gas actually isn't what we're paying in gas.

tha's what I kept telling me when I saw some shorts from this app, adults looking and doing things even average children would have either achieved or given up on with a better self evaluation. Adults doing this are pathetic, even young adults, come on respect yourself aim at being excellent in what you love, but aim higher please !!
