the vanair set up is a screw type compressor. They also have underbody compressors for anything that has a PTO, and I believe they have a compressor that is belt driven. BOSS compressors are available too. A piston type compressor no matter how many stages they have can't deliver the CFM a screw can. great videos!! Glad to see Mississippi activities! Im in Tupelo.

Nice heavy duty tires looks like. BTW I saw a brand new Tiger 635 on a flat bed rolling down the road Columbus, Ohio) the other day and thought of you Tim When I was at the Paul Bunyan Show last year to see you, I talked with a representative from TC and he informed me that a new 635 unit costs about $450,00.00. Logging ain't cheap that is for sure.

Those new tires look better on the 630e skidder. Not in logging but I see a lot of Tigercat equipment on logging jobs. More than John Deere. I think with the size of Deere and Company, they aren't as quick to innovate their logging equipment like a company like Tigercat, which is quite a bit smaller. They are also more focused than Deere. All customers want is something that will get the job done without fixing little problems all the time. If they(Deere) can't keep the guys at TDK logging happy, then they have dropped the ball. If Deere cared they would be offended to see Tigercat making inroads on TDK. I see what you said about helping service people helps out. They can't say anything bad about TDK Logging.
