Hate to say it but today’s competition would have eaten him alive. Watching every shot made this clear as day. Actually pretty crazy to compare…by the looks of this golf u would think he would be fighting to make the cut…and that makes sense given his knee trouble. Today u don’t get away with some of that horrendous golf esp at the start…just being honest straight garbage

If golfers of today are so much better, why does Tiger still hold so many course records? They should be shooting lower scores right? Especially considering how much better the clubs and golfballs have gotten. Not to mention guys today have all the modern technology to improve their game.

Watching this video has made me realize that if Tiger was competing in this exact same tournament in the 2020s he would have gotten destroyed. He was all over the map on this final day. By today's standards, he didn't deserve to win this. I loved watching it, and I'm a huge fan. But Tiger had very incompetent competition back then.

Lol. Part-time Tiger was #1 for 60 consecutive weeks in 2013 against much of today's competition (he took over from Rory). Old, hobbled, part-time Tiger won a major in 2019 and reached as high as number 6 in the OWGR (and had an actual average that would have been number 1). Peak (1999-2008) Tiger would have feasted on today's competition just like he did then.

What are you talking about? This statement is laughable. Tigers compition back then had some of the most elete golfers we have seen. Not to mention the golf clubs and balls are way different now. Everyone is more consistent this days. Also your theory just doesn't hold up. Take a look a the statistics on scoring averages of Tiger. He has set a TON of records that still stand today. These records have nothing to do with who he completed against. If golfers are better now, using better equipment, why aren't they shooting lower scores than Tiger did?
