and the last ever held there thanks to in incompetence of the management. USGA says it will never return because of it.

@@alarmservicepros I would have to agree with you 100%. Management is so up tight and entitled with the whole operation it blew up in their face
I’ve never looked more forward to a golf tournament than I am this week. Actually taking Friday and the weekend off so I can watch every second of it. GO PHIL!!
Firestone by the sea. Awesome videos as always though, very much enjoy this series
Played here in 2022, fantastic course. Lots of bunkers and the kikuyu grass in the rough is like hitting out of a brillo pad.
Awesome course! Love these videos, keep them coming!

Trump Los Angeles is 10 times that course with ocean views on EVERY hole and better condition.
Played it yesterday tough test, did hit within 4 foot on the the 3rd, the shot that will bring me back🏌🏻♂️
Love watching these to know what to expect for upcoming events!
Beautiful course, beautiful flyover.
That back nine is 💪💪💪
Live in San Diego finally playing this course in march. So excited

How did you do? Was there yesterday late afternoon. Overcast and Wind was brutal!
these are all brilliant.
The South is actually over 7,800 yards after the 2019 remodel! And the 12th isn’t the longest par 4...that’s #15!

Okay thank you. I thought I heard 6700 and was confused.
Such a beautiful site. Hot take: the course is so BORING architecturally. One of those course you play and you have trouble remembering every hole, but again, UREAL site and beautiful place to play golf.

That’s how I feel about it too. Repetitive, not super creative, and doesn’t fully utilize the landscape, but a spectacular place nonetheless
Chiseled onto a table top and on top,of the golf world this week 🤔🤗
Wow! Bring your best bunker game boys... punishing. Superb video.
Playing here for the first time in May!
salivating to play here
Came here to see how accurate EA made this course in PGA Tour Road to the Masters. And I gotta say they basically nailed it spot on.
It’s a beast. Hardest course I’ve ever played.
7600 not 6700 yards - nice video
Gotta do Augusta
I played this once. Got a par on the first hole and well, wasn’t great after that...
You really need to have a superb aerial game to score well on this course. Punch shots and bump and runs seem to be a rarity here.
The Rolls Royce of golf.
We need NGLA
what is a moon shot iron?? 7:42
Love this course during the US open. Sad theyre not allowing 100% fans or id be there
Who are you guy's picks to win this years US Open? And if you want you can also name who might surprise at Torrey Pines.

Phil, all day! I think he can carry the momentum and finally secure the career Grand Slam! He took 2 weeks off of tournaments so he could just focus on getting familiar with TP.

Koepka, Oostie, Xander are my picks. Outside surprise pick would be Rocco Mediate 😜
Whats the winning score gonna be?????
Pared the first two holes on south course in December. Double bogey by woods on 2nd? Ask him to call me for tips. Lol
Golf tournament
That pond on 18 is abysmal
In his prime Tiger was a different beast at Torrey, he was unbeatable in his prime.
Sand bunkers galore. The only water is on the 18th.
This is a well designed course.

Hello 👋🏻 nice to meet you cohen, hope you’re safe and well?
Has to be the biggest discrepancy between awesome piece of land and terrible design. Hate you Rees!
Sure be nice if they Plant More Trees since they take a lot of California Water for this US Open. All the valley would be a great place for Trees Toooooooooo. Oh California don’t have Common Sense Good Luck PGA Pros
also this course plays at a snails pace. not good when you have a lot of walkers that are 20 handicaps w/ brutal rough. be prepared for 6 hour rounds.

Played yesterday 4:50 not too bad had a couple of walkers in front still was great
No room for errant drives. I see a plethora of options to lose golf balls
Would be more beautiful without the golf course
I feel like this course is overrated. If you take it off of the ocean and the cliffs then it's actually a boring course. The holes are just blah.
The successful medicine algorithmically milk because lasagna jelly transport mid a glistening glorious gray. fearful fearless, groovy heaven
Such a spectacular site, such mediocre course design. Wish they could give carte blanche to one of the great modern architects like Hanse, C+C, or Doak.
"In 1957 San Diego opened one of the the countries great new public courses", A William Bell designed course that no longer exists. What you have today is a course that you will score 10-15 strokes higher on and play in almost 6 hours thanks to a designer that Phil Mickelson and most other pro golfers hate, Reese Jones. If you don't get fogged out you will wait on every tee for 6 hours, pay 4 times what it is really worth and listen to military jets go full blast over your head every 10 minutes. If you happened to find a broken club or anything else in the trash, don't touch it or they will call the police and claim you stole it. True story, happened to me. Cool puff piece though.
One of the most stale designs you can find anywhere. Straight holes with little intrigue. Characterless bunkering used in repetitive and predictable fashion - right and left in landing zones and right and left of greens. Enormous difference between watching the National Golf Links of America video and this.
