When you went to decals that 131 was a reference to the first tiger tank captured and still intact

It’s so satisfying to watch the sanding process in this game
The thing with the roadwheels made it a nightmare to maintain the Tiger in the field, i.e. when one of the inner roadwheels broke, you had to remove 3-4 others in order to get to the broken one... it does not help that this tanks weighed around 60 tons and the Wehrmacht had not enough heavy duty towing machines to salvage the tank... so a simple roadwheel breaks down (which was not uncommon) this meant a tank was lost... actually operational breakdowns were they main reason for losing Tigers, not battlefield damage

You'd think Tiger could stand to lose 1 or 2 road wheels without getting crippled, but I guess not... The system was not without advantages though. More road wheels means reduced ground pressure, and bigger diameter means greater mobility.

@@StressmanFIN all true... problem was not only actual breakdown... imagine you are driving in mud and you do not remove it and it freezes overnight. Happened a lot on the eastern front.

It's funny how you go from Tiger to Panther to King Tiger and the roadwheel arrangement gets sequentially less insane, but other things driving you insane crop up instead.
Something I found that made cleaning the hard to reach spots easier is to get into the commander/loader/driver seats. You can use your tools while in there, and it makes the German tanks, with all their little components, much easier.
The tiger was a mess but turned out amazing!! The tiger tanks that I have seen were a grey in color!! That’s kinda dumb that you spend 18 grand just to get your money back basically lol!! The excavation thing is still awesome. I would like to see a full restoration on a tank that would awesome!! I wonder if you can build a tank from scratch!! Great vid diesel!! Keep up the great work!!
You can purchase rusty parts off of the computer if you order the parts individually. Fantastic way to save money in the long run.
4:25 Torsion bars! Apparently they were a real hassle to fix in WW2 as well.
Diesel could've used the x-ray vision to get to those hard-2-get parts
Tip: order individual parts from your computer/tablet instead and it becomes cheaper. I had a Tiger like yours and I spent about 8k on it in new parts. And if you want to save extra money, buy the parts unpainted and repaint yourself
4:45 I haven't seen and touched every tank, but most that have those bars, usually just name Rods, in the floor like that. You can usually get to those by taking off the wheels and what their mounted onto, and behind those are the rods you can then get access to. Best to Derust, Sand, Primer, and paint those all first, before putting the wheels back on so you don't have to come back at each pass.

The KV is the exception. The torsion bars don't poke through the hull. >..

They're torsion bars. Main part of the suspension. Torsion bar suspension basically became THE standard system almost everybody converged on during and after the war.
love your vids bro. there is just a few youtubers thats got just the right stuff made of every thing you love about a person and you are the best i seen, love ya man and god bless ya
@DieselDesigns Gaming If your contract says that Assembly needs to be 73%, then you do not have to fully restore the tank... in your case probably fixing the engine would have been sufficient to fulfill your objective... You clearly are an overachiever, which I can 100% (see what I did there?) relate to, as I hate giving derelict tanks back to its Owners, but otherwise you lose money every friggin' time and you are not the Salvation Army... Also you can change rotation/scale with the keyboard (there are hints in the middle at the bottom), I find that more convenient then going back and forth than the levers on the right... Also to get in the tank you need to go to the Analysis menu than internal and then you can choose the position you want to be sitting in... The museum can be customized (ladder and paint buckets on the left when you enter it)... also you can save 2k bucks if you search the tank manually when you go for excavation...
Technically you made a German Captured KV-2 which could have happened IRL.
omg diesel thank you!!! :)
$18000 for parts!!! You can pay a tiny tiny fraction of that if you write down/remember the parts needed, go to the store webpage, buy all the parts in rusted state, remove rust, sand, primer then paint.
You can move the camera around and it affects the angles of your decals to get that fine tuning in. I figured this out on accident. Also on the radial menu the icon on the right thats got an eye on in and its transparent. Thats where you get in.
You just spent 18 grand to assemble ONE more percent of that tank, because you were at 72% and the mission was 73%. You could have simply ordered a few parts here and there and plugged a few in until it dinged. Also, PLEASE read what you are looking at. Order Parts button gives you a "Cost Multiplier" for using the convenience and not getting them one at a time yourself, and your Cost Multiplier for the Tiger was 1.75! Also also, ANGLE. GRINDER, my dude. You have a combo tool that will eliminate your tool switching, and thus those times that you are half a percent off switching repair phases.

Ok, for going inside the tank. First, be looking at and close to the tank. Middle click for the Radical. Then the top right option, called "Interior Options" It looks like a checkered Tank. Click that, and then there are 2 options. The right one is for "Tank Exterior", which is badly labeled, but what it does is turn the outside of the tank Transparent so you can see and select for Disassembled or Assembled all the inner parts you can't manually see, like things under the floor. The other option tho, on the left, says "Get Inside". Gee, I wonder what it does? Click that and you'll see the different seats. Usually there is a Driver, Radio guy, Gunner, Commander, and Ammo Loader guy. Tho different tanks have different ones. Some have 2 Loaders, others have no Radio guy. Driver, Gunner, and Commander tho will always be there. You can click those options to sit in those seats. However, beware. Some of the Tanks, the Radio seat seems to be messed up. Only 2 tanks I've found so far puts you in the middle back of the tank instead of in the Radio guy's seat. But just switch or get out and it's fine. Just puts you in the wrong place, sadly. Thankfully the 2 tanks I experienced that with, didn't have anything you couldn't see from the driver or middle area. To get out of the seat, Middle click again, and the bottom button with the Arrow that says 'Back' will kick you back out of the tank, and be right next to the ladder. Another useful feature of the Radical Menu while looking at the tank is the very bottom option that is the 'Module Menu'. With that, you can take out or put back in the engine or mount and dismount the Tank Gun section without having to move away from the tank to those two environment items first.
List of Tasks: Required Repairs: 42% (You only have to get the total repair value above this percentage. Usually it can be achieved by derusting and sanding alone though sometimes you have to prime as well) Required Assembly: 73% (You only have to get the Tank Assembly Completion above this amount and it's usually only adding 1 or 2 pieces on a "Normal" contract) Your stats at the time were 70% Tank Repair Completion (Only needed 42%) and 72% Tank Assembly Completion (Only needed 73%). Always check the contracts to see if it needs "Normal" or "Very High" repairs. Very High gives you a lot more money, but also requires a lot more parts and therefore costs you more to repair. You only need to reach the required stats in order to get the green checkmark on the task, at which point you can just finish the order. Also you can jump into the different seats of the tank by opening the radial menu, going into the "Interior" options, and opening the "Get Inside" menu to access one of the different seats.
Hi! I'm pretty sure when extract, you can dig and find it yourself to save some initial $$. You will still have to pay the movement to garage.
Under the shopping tab you can choose the condition of the parts you are purchasing. If you buy rusted parts they are cheap and can be fixed once mounted
Yes more more more do more Diesel show them all Ww2 tanks is big restoration Work of Arts Especially big machine in fs19
you can also test drive tanks that are not yours
"dark green" its usually dark grey or sand yellow

for german
To make money there you can buy the parts yourself (instead of auto-ordering everything). That costs 0.75x less. The other way is to make the bare minimum of the requirements (as much as it pains me). Personally I try the 100% every time as long as I make profit.
Wish this was on PS4
The tiger tank had a V12 engine

Where can I get this game and can I get it on laptop?
I wish when you find the tanks they have battle damage like pock marks and shell impacts
could be a captured russian tank by the germans
G when's the next satisfactory?
Later tigers where painted with a dark gray primer to save time.
The Panzer III M's gun doesn't look right
not dark green a dark grey
Yikes! 18K on a tank u don't own, only needed one or two more parts to clear the mission. best to save your money for the blue prints so u can craft the parts when u unlock the crafting bench.
It bugs me so much that he painted a tiger green and that he put 322 instead of 131 like the real one.

Call me genius, but should your intro go backwards for Tank Mechanic Simulator 2020. Because you are unrusting tanks, and your intro goes rusted lol.
