When she released in Kpop, she probably got more attention because she was 'Tiffany Hwang from Girls' Generation, from the one and only SM entertainment' and she had all the korean media and Asian fans to give her the support. Most people in kpop and in Asia would probably know Tiffany and Girls' Generation. Right now, she's shed away all of that and aiming a completely different market where her name isn't as known. She's starting from scratch again, from small again, no longer with the veteran and legend status, but it feels good because she's been receiving so much positive feedback. In the past she'd be swarmed by negative remarks and insults and criticism for everything but now she's found her balance, found her own happiness, her own sound, and she's chasing her dreams. Most of the comments and remarks are positive and I'm so happy and proud of her. She really is hardworking, there's a reason why she's a member of Girls' Generation y'all. (By the way, Tiffany has confirmed she's still a Girls' Generation member, so in no way am I implying that she has left GG.)

@@yukikirameki9378 I can't remember but she has said it in many different occasions. She said it in many interviews, I think you can find them if you search. She said it in one of the red carpet interviews during the BMAs and she also said it when she did an interview with Chelsea Briggs for Billboard, it's on KZread. She was also talking about Girls' Generation during her interview for Iheartradio. She's also corrected interviewers when they say she's no longer from GG. She also went to Zach's radio station where she also talked a lot about Girls' Generation. In case you don't know, she just went back to Korea and even went to support Sooyoung's movie with the other girls and she's always saying 'Girls Generation forever'. She also plays GG songs in her concerts and she also sings GG songs (like ITNW) during her concerts. You can find probably find videos about her talking about GG if you search with keywords on google and/or KZread.

The first time I listened to this song I legit cried. I was falling real bad for a guy (currently my fiancé) and I couldn't believe there is a song that could capture how I feel so perfectly . Thank you Tiffany :')❤️

this MV is much deeper than you’d think at first. Look at all the symbolism: she’s wearing strong make up for contrast& doesn’t smile for over half of the video as she is trying to escape the tides (her problems/challenges from the past) but her long dress (=her soul) is dragged into the water so eventually she gives up pretending that everything is okay& let’s out all her emotions. Afterwards it’s a new day (new beginning), she wears a light dress meaning her soul is free now and by nighttime she also smiles for the first time as she’s showing her gratitude

SNSD was a historic group by all means but I can’t say I’d like to see THIS dimension of her more. As an east asian, I still keep the memory listening to her songs at a small Starbucks in the UK. The music that make Tiffany sounds so different to SNSD, but VERY DIFFERENT. And her voice here is more deep, more strong, well, she says she is taking care of her voice a lot and I'm happy about it. Because finally the songs are made in her range and she doesn't have to keep up with Tae and Sica. It's funny how a lot of people criticize but don't stop to think that SNSD is/was a group of 9 people singing the same song so it's bound for certain notes to be uncomfortable for some singers.. and usually the songs best fit the main singers because they need to shine.. and usually the main singers have the widest range.. you see where I'm going. I heard this song on her vogue video and she was singing without autotune and I searched up this song and istg there is no difference between that and this. Its a beautiful song, an artistic masterpiece for sure but, it is not Christian by any measure. Truth be told, its actually a mockery of Christianity. The lyrics are very sexual and anti Christian. Nothing new in the world of pop music. I love Tiff and Girls Generation but, they are hardly Christian. Sadly, if she or they did a Christian themed album they would break records in the US and Asia but they would be burned to the ground and shunned by the industry. 😑

Cause this could've been a chance to bring some diversity into the US music, but it seems like you can't make it if you don't adapt and sound like anyone else in the US music industry? I love this song, but I wished she opted for a more Korean pop-like vibe, maybe sth like WonderGirls' or BoA's English songs, just to make it more interesting.
