A moment like this could never be scripted. Think about it, Angie Bowie goes into the Big Brother house a few days before he ex husband David Bowie dies. Tiffany, a reality queen, is the first to hear the news and reacts thinking its David Guest (who was quite ill at the time so it's believable to house mates that he could have died). Angie told Tiffany alone, with no one else in the room. It also transpires that John, who knew about Bowie's death, was in the shower at the time and couldn't defuse the situation. Thus gifting us the greatest piece of reality television to grace our screens.

A lot of people are overlooking the vital piece which is Tiffany lying about what Angie said. Angie just said 'David' and Tiffany relays an entire make believe back and forth with Angie confirming it was David Gest. I'm guessing it was at that point that Tiffany realised her mistake but didn't want to lose face and so tried to turn the whole thing around ont Angie.

The only difference is the fan can't enjoy any future music/films etc from the celebrity. Apart from that, it's family and friends of the celebrity that actually feel the hole of a death. Not having them there to talk to or visit. None of us knew MJ, we only knew his music. This entire debacle started with tiff saying “I like your hair like the black ribbons r u ok??” and it lead to “DAVID GEST DIED IN THE DIARY ROOM”

God bless Tiffany. This scene was hilarious and so sad at the same time. It was pure comedia dell arte. The quiproquo was just so smooth. RIP David Bowie but apparently the David from the show also passed 3 months later. That is some ominous foreshadowing.
