I love the little talks like this the characters have with Cloud. He seems a lot more open and genuine when he’s talking about personal things like this, and he always seems happy to talk to Tifa about literally anything

@@animalhouse8849 it seems like Cloud’s character and personality has flown right over your head. And if you don’t know anything about the original and only know the new games then it’s half excusable because the Remake trilogy hasn’t reached the point of properly exploring Cloud’s character yet, but if you do know the old compilation then there’s no excuse for not knowing Cloud’s character and realising why he is like he is in Rebirth.

@@Matagu1 they grew up in the same town. They were f-ing neighbors!! By the time Cloud left for Midgar, he and Tifa were friends!! Now that they’ve reunited and talking about old times, they are “old friends reconnecting through food!”!!!

These type of dialogue is what makes side quests so charming

Cloud needs Tifa as core memory of his true self before everyhing when he 's simply just Cloud before Mako, Sephiroth, SOLDIERs even. So does Tifa need him as the only one left for her. If one of them lose each other, FF7 won't have a happy ending, period.

They're not missing out much for not liking crabs, they're expensive anyway 😂

Cloud and Tifa

I played this right after the fashion date between Aerith and Cloud. I must say, Cloud sounds more happy and relax here then his date with Aerith. He was rather dismissive and snappy in that one.

Yeah, he was definitely shooting Aerith down. Said stuff like, "this isn't a date" "please don't treat it like a date cause Im not romantic" and crap like that. With Tifa he seems much more interested in talking with her, then again he wasn't really forced into a date with Tifa like he was Aerith.

@@Loner0410 He's quite willing to display emotional affection (as in that he cares about her) for Aerith, so sure i get why some ship them and Aerith is such a wonderful character. But yeah, the devs throw in some shades of grey here and there, but like, they make Cloud looks at Tifa the entire date, and make Cloud look at the fireworks during Aeriths date. If you run into Tifa during the Aerith date, Cloud doesn't make eye contact with Tifa, nor does he make eye contact with her when he sits on the water tower with Aerith and Tifa waves at them. Not to mention when she claimed they had been on a date in Kalm and both he almost starts shaking because he doesn't know what to say. The devs clearly intend to infer that Cloud does have stronger feelings for Tifa, given how they make him react whenever Tifa sees him with Aerith. Even if you're free to believe that he also started to fall in love with Aerith aswell over the course of the game.

It's all a matter of psychology, as an anxious guy, if I'm casually Interacting with a girl I'll most likely pull the ultimate rizz and just be cool about it working or not. But if the said girl says openly "it's a date, let's go on a date" . Well, in that case the shit stinks and I lose my pace and mess things up. I believe Cloud is similar, If you push him he'll back out, but if the thing goes naturally he does well

Shes just fishing so she knows how to get from his stomach to his heart.

How can Tifa not like crab meat? It's delicious! Also, that is the coolest near closest to realistic-looking sword design ever, and that before cloud upgrades his buster sword to the attachable customized version of itself.

Not to be the nerdy guy, but that attachable sword is not the buster sword he iconically uses. The Buster Sword he got from Zack who got from Angeal. That crazy sword is just a bunch of blades he got on the ride and goes swinging around

i think it’s interesting how in aerith’s side quest (the one before this), cloud says he isn’t a picky eater but here in tifa’s he admits the food is gross and he doesn’t/wouldn’t eat crab.. it’s contradicting himself😭

How can Tifa not like crab meat? It's delicious.

I hate that you have to pick between powerpoint mode and blurry mode in this game. They should have done better with the graphics.

For a game this size they did a miracle, you have no idea how big of a deal is that this game can even reach 60fps
