I didn't expect Frederick from Cursed Princess Club in here lol. When he was introduced, the Webtoon readers were all "Nope, nope, nope". It takes a long time for him to be a viable love interest, and it takes a lot of character development. So he does get better, but you won't see that in volume 1.

The rat tail revulsion is deeply relatable. When I was in kindergarten as a 4 and a half year old, there was a year 6 guy with a rat tail that I would go out of my way to avoid because of how viscerally gross I found his rat tail. He was probably a perfectly nice person 😂

Personally, I would kill Snow in both the book and the movie adaptation 💀🤣 personally, I saw book Snow and movie Snow as two different perspectives of the same person rather than two different people. I think his portrayal in the movie shows how someone can appear very different when you aren't inside their head. Of course he'd seem like just a tragic hero to those who never took a look at what was going on inside his head. I also like his portrayal in the book far more than in the movie. I almost hated movie Snow more because I was fully aware of how two-faced his slice of bread ass actually is 💀 It was nice to read a villian who wasn't romanticized. He was bad through and through, even when he was faced with genuinely good influences and differing opinions. Some people are just straight up evil, and it was nice to see a character who was portrayed as just that because unfortunately, that's the reality

I feel like the changes the movie made to the actions that he does makes him seem like a more normal sympathetic person instead of a villain, which is why I don't really see him at the same character as the book! I even saw an interview where the actor said hearing Lucy Gray singing made snow want to protect her. And I would never believe that for the book version of snow lol

I live in such a weird parallel universe because the only CoHo book I've read is Heart Bones and they were legitimately perfect and healing for each other but it's like. . . the one CoHo book NO ONE EVER TALKS ABOUT and the shit going down in ALL THE OTHER COHO BOOKS is just wild. (Like . . . Samson does turn out to be secretly a homeless orphan breaking into people's houses and on the run for arson, but like. . . he and the main girl are both from similar "wrong side of the tracks" stories going on and everything with Samson inspires her to become a lawyer . . . so it's wild to me that every other CoHo book is INSANE.)
