The GOJHL is also where BCHL / AJHL pluck from. So the younger talent in this league actually gets D1 calibre young players, that just have one more step before NCAA (at the schools request)
The GOJHL is usually feeder teams for the OHL so a lot of guys who are not affiliated with an OHL team go on from the GOJHL to other Junior A leagues to advance to NCAA D1

Is the na3 west division best for getting recruited to the minnesota colleges?

For sure. In tier 3 terms. If you can land a spot like North Iowa, Rochester or Granite City, you'll have a great opportunity to go D3 out locally. The advantage of North Iowa and Rochester is that they are "feeder" teams for their NAHL Teams. Although the odds of Tier NA3HL Players getting called up full time to the NAHL Is low, even getting a few games at the NAHL level will boost your stock tremendously. I'm biased but I think the NA3 west is the best division in the NA3. In regards to other tier 3 leagues, I think a best on best would be cool to see. Hope this helped. Cheers

To get recruited you need to be dominant in your role. Even if you play in another division you can get recruited by any school.
Unfortunately, the Richmond Generals just folded in December
