Love the pattern, I have been using a few of your patterns for a variety of fish, but this one would be perfect for Pike, Small Mouth Bass, Lake Trout, Walleye, and tied in smaller sizes I would use them for large panfish/yellow perch. I must admit though that keeping stocked up on those Petitijean Magic Heads is a bit tough as a new dad... diaper costs are killing my tying materials funds!

Here in the southern USA, I can tell you everything from bluegill and crappie, to all species of bass, and even pike will eat that fly #flydressing

Loving that pattern, i´m going to terrorize the Perches here in northern Roslagen with some variations of this fly for shore! Keep on producing these really great Tie TV clips !!!

Det ser så löjligt lätt ut när du gör binder. Själv har man precis lyckats få till en snygg WB!! Skulle jaga efter både abborre och havsöring. Ser riktigt vass ut och går riktigt fint i vattnet!

Greetings from Argentina! Great fly, mostly I would fish a pattern like this on the swing for trout. I live in Mendoza, and most fishing spots are fast water rivers, wich give the fly a life on its own.

Rob That is a fine line often discussed, but for me not really important. As long is I tie it and fish it on a fly rod I consider it a fly.

Why go thru the hassle? This is a hybrid fly/crank bait. Not what I would call true fly fishing. I can successfully buy a crank bait of equal size and color.
