I was thinking that was going to be way too much white, but I absolutely love this! I have a white hoody I've been saving to dye and this is definitely what I'm going to try on it. I love how the one sleeve was purple, just love the whole thing!

So pretty!! This is my Dads account, but he just recently commented and yes i was excited that you replied. not all KZreadr's do. So i was excited to read your reply, and i'm not as crazy as my dad says i am. I love him anyway! And i thought while reading in your description how you talked about the importance of reading all, well the narratives of the things we use to dye. And while having not to recently was reading about soda ash and it's properties and what it can do for you color and the things it changes in your water like the PH. That being said, i tried asking my Dad about what other things might make your colors more vivid other than soda ash, and he said he didn't know. So i looked on the net and found only a few things, Salt was one and the other thing i found was Borax. Salt is a way to bring the PH up a bit and help in the bonding process, but safer for kids like me. But Borax can heighten the level of PH in water even higher than Soda Ash and has alot of the same properties. So i gotta ask the master since well you are the master of Tie Dye! And i might have to con my Dad into possibly letting him let me make my first well real TieDye Video on what to do and not since i could not find any on this particular subject. I’m not a huge KZreadr so I definitely think it’s important to interact with all of you…plus this is a tutorial/entertainment channel so there’s always going to be questions ☺️ I don’t use salt or borax though. With the dyes I use, soda ash has been perfect. I do know that some dyes require salts and as far as I know it’s mainly for vat dyeing (a lot of dye in a tub and soaking shirts in it to change the color entirely) When I first started out I did try vinegar before the wash to set the dyes but it didn’t really seem to make a difference. I wish I had more info for ya but that’s all I really have on that subject. I think it’s so awesome you want to make some videos! You’re gonna do great! ☺️❤️

@@RiahsTieDye my pops is up in North Jersey. He said it’s been weird. Honestly the weather down here has been really off. Enough that my gardening isn’t what it used to be. Strange you had such crazy weather and it bumped up over night. I just want consistent 70’s so I can dye and batch and not worry about it. And turn off the heater 🤣. ✌🏻❤️

It's a lotta white. I want that rainbow spiral with some white mixed in but a little less white. Love the classic rainbow colors and it's still WAY better than just any old plain solid color hoodie.

How do you stop the inks from bleeding into the other colors.

There’s a lot of reason it can bleed like over saturation, the fabric is too wet when you dye, even the types of dyes you use.

Love your dyes, could I send you clothing I want dyed?? Also, still waiting on that Boba Fett dye, even though the series is over for now.

Yeah 50/50 always fades…nowadays I try to find the 90% cotton 10% polyester hoodies 😊
