I started doing pre soaks and hang drying before my final washes. Sometimes it’s dawn, sometimes it’s color safe bleach and today I’m doing a soak in Synthrapol. It depends on the tints. Great shirt. I agree with you on fuchsia. I feel the same about turquoise. ✌🏻❤️

Interesting. I’d be afraid the dye would drip down while it’s hanging. I stay away from anything marked bleach with my tie dye, color safe or not. 😳 Turquoise usually over saturates on me. Sound like you and me are opposites. 😉❤️🌈

It’s so beautiful. I like how it goes from light to dark. The blue outlines the flames of the sun and makes it pop right off the shirt. Simply gorgeous. 💙

Very pretty! You used a lot of primary colors in this one. I like the way they blend as opposed to colors that split. Golden Yellow is one of my favorites. I love the way it warms up a project.

I’m brand new to tie dying and this design will be my very first shirt! I have it pleated but will wait until tomorrow to dye it because I’m waiting for husband to cut the vinyl gutter for me. I’m “dying” (pun intended)… I honestly can wait!!! Also I think I got carried away with the pleats 😬 I made 32? Hope it’s still stunning.

Beautiful fan fold. I love the colors on this one. I think the turquoise gets lost in between the fuchsia and cerulean but it’s still very good. ✌🏻

WOW!!! I love this one. I'm gonna have to go pick up a length of gutter soon! I have a question... When you put the dye over the pleats, some of the dye fell off. Would it help "stick" if you lightly spray the shirt with a squirt bottle first? I'm new to tie-dye so don't know if that would help or hurt. I love your tutorials! Thanks!

Yes, get some gutter. The shirt is damp from the Panda spin dryer. The small amount of dye that falls off is no biggie. It will find its way into the shirt as the ice melts. If you wanted to spray your shirt use soda ash water. ❤️🌈

Great work. Coral pink needs diluted so much to get the actual color. I have not been able to achieve this with ice. I have found a heaping quarter teaspoon to a cup of water will get the actual color. A little goes a long wY with this dye.

Hi Barbara. Sometimes I make several projects in one day and sometimes I only make one. I suppose it depends on how ambitious I feel. I have 8 bins so that’s usually my limit. 😃❤️🌈
