TIBURON BUILD PART #5 | OBX EXHAUST | INSTALL AND FIRST IMPRESSIONS
Well, this is the most excited I've been since starting my Tiburon build. It's time to install the exhaust!
I originally purchased an eBay cat back exhaust about a month ago but held off on installing it because of lack of time. And I think it was for good reason because I have since acquired an OBX cat back to install instead!
I am liking the sound more and more every time I take it for a drive. It's the perfect balanced sound, not too loud, not too quiet. It won't get my in trouble with it being too loud which is good because I now have tinted windows as well. All in all it looks great and sounds great!

Thanks! That's what I was hoping for, do a build less common. I hate seeing the same car over and over again on KZread. Don't get me wrong, 350z's and brz's are cool. But I prefer something different!
I love the iridescent decals on the side of the car and spoiler
Lilmidwest has some really good videos on performance upgrades

My 97 is in the Garage Getting A Complete Brake Job,Had to get the Oringal Brakes Off And Put Really Good Ones On,And New Plugs And Wires,Next Week Into The Customize Shop,Tint Windows, Some Fiber Carbon Inside Out,The Wheels Are What I'm Having An Issue With,The Car Came With 195 60 R14s 4 Bolt And I Want To Put The Biggest I Can Go Without Rubbing And Bottoming Out,

Sounds like a sweet build man! I am going cosmis racing xt-206R's on mine. They are 18's with quite a lot of width so I have to roll my fenders!
Sounds better for sure, you okay with saying how much in mods you've spent on your tibby over the course of 5 videos? Haha ( rocking to 5:30 xD )

For sure! I believe so far I am around ~$3,000 USD. I have more mods waiting to be installed so stay tuned, the tib is about to get some stance soon ;)

Maybe slight with the exhaust and intake combo. Should feel more after headers and a tune!

I got an 06 in November and last owner used the eBay one with zero resonator so the exhaust drone is so so awful

Don't do it don't take the resonator off and replace it with a straight pipe trust me its going to sound like crap with raspyness.

Totally on the same page as you lol since installing the exhaust has broken in and I think it sounds perfect! I hope to do an update video soon :)

No they’re supposed be like that. It’s not an over axle so they angle down a bit. Many imports that have aftermarket exhausts are like that. Don’t be worried all is well lol

@@xanyslo9772 Hi! A Tib specialist here from EU! You dont need aftermarket parts for the lights, you can just unmoun them and replaces the standard bulb with any other bulb that fits Theres a lot of bulbs that can be found on amazon and parts shops that adapts to the standard connector but are LED with differents colors. But depending of the country you're living on it can be illegal to not use a orange one so take a look to the law to avoid problems. For example here in Spain, the turn signals must be either an orange bulb or a withe one but with the glass tinted in orange. Either in some countries changing the bulb type to other (ex: halogen headlight to LED) requires you to pay an workshop and an engineer to be able to do it legally. BTW Tibs are a great, funny and reliable car. Im in love with my 97 2.0 FX tib
