Wow, this song kicks nostalgia into overdrive. I remember living in a bachelor pad with 3 other friends. The weekends would come and there was a period I would always hear my buddy playing this track downstairs in the room underneath mine. It never bothered me as it was the perfect tune to wake up to. I enjoy my life now but life was so much simpler feeling back then. You just ran with the time and felt on top of the world with all your youthful exuberance. You had time for everybody and everything. Today it feels like you're just trying to run against time as days keep peeling off the calendar. Next thing you know, you're on KZread looking back 15 years reminiscing with strangers about a song.

Lol-I picture your buddy being me... only if he was blasting it on some really good speakers 🔊 😂. Did he ever play Tiësto-Ten Seconds Before Sunrise? Ahhh I loved that song (still do) so much, especially after an all night party around 4-5am. Or playing it first thing the next morning with maybe some Enigma. Good times!

Easy. Because the competition was tight, standards was high. today this tune can easily overshadow the crap today, just so you know Tiesto never made this music,did you ever see him actually present anything while in a studio, never ever is there footage only some PR video. I'm just glad I grew up in a generation when electronic music (NOT EDM) was hard and rare as diamonds.

Can't believe you took the time to write that crap. DJ Tiesto was both a producer AND a DJ. He certainly MADE this, just as much as Nicola Hitchcock did with her vocals.

This is the Tiesto i will always have in my memory!

I am 46 years old and still loving this one. Just came across it now again.. still doing it for us in 2018. Thank you Tiesto and Nicola's unique voice is just made for this song.

Feel soooooo nostalgic now. Its been more than fifteen years since I started listening to electronic music. Trance was the start. Tiesto was the first artist. In my Memory was the first track! This track is the start of a beautiful relationship with music that I have developed. Its sacred to me :)

Gonna turn 30 soon. This song bring me back to my 18-21 years old days. A Memories... Life getting better and fufilling but soo much more faster, some things you wish had come with you have turned into ghost and forever live in your memories

The opening 30 seconds transported me back to way back when Tiesto was Tiesto and Trance was Life!

This song will always be IN MY MEMORY!!!! I've loved this song for over a decade!

somewhere in 2006 I was listening to a lot of Mandalay (Nicola's band) and was trying to find anything related to it. And I found this song, that I listened to everywhere I went on a cd player for weeks. My most vivid memory of this song is a train trip with some of my classmates. that trip and everything that happened on it is still one of my most cherished memories. and nothing brings it back like this song. it's one of those 'soundtrack of your life' type songs. It's been at least 10 years since the last time I listened to it. And today for some random reason I remembered. It filled my soul with nostalgia and I could almost feel the hot summer air and the wind in my hair from that train trip to lovely Sibiu, Romania.

Electronic music is a genre that gets obsolete pretty quickly, most songs don't past the test of time. I loved that I could listen to this track in 2001, 2005, 2011 and even today and I think it has passed the test of time.

Even though he didn't produce his own tracks, I'm always going to miss the sound that he played in those years....

It is a great music for me and it reminds me of my trip from Venlo to Leiden by train in 2007 of my first visit to Netherlands 🇳🇱, i listened to this track by my Walkman.. It was uplifting moment during that trip. Now in Indonesia i still listen to this track even today

Yes I found it. I had this cd but it was stolen together with my car years ago. The cd was next to me during roughly times so had a special meaning for me. I listened to many beautiful Tiesto tracks on YT but there was a missing link, this song. I forgot about the title but this is the one ❤️ Tracks like these simply take me higher and it makes me smile from ear to ear.

Met Tiesto in the Breda, NL train station in 2001 before he absolutely blew up. Super nice guy! Still enjoying the groove.

All people here say that they miss old Tiesto. I am actually 18 and still have In My memory and Elements of life on my iPod

The Rhythm of the chorus and vocals is adrenaline-filled, morning coffee to me. Why? I wish I knew the answer. It brings goosebumps and makes me "Flow". His music, old or new, brings an energy that allows for flow. I hope he does create a compilation of similar energy-filled music! I would buy it!!! the 1st Electronica CD album i bought at an actual music store back home in India - probably 1 of a few in that stack. I was 18.. It changed my life forever.. I still have it .. the memories associated with those times and thereafter are etched sharply "in my memory" if only he didnt quit the scene.
