I will excuse Khum Sam… She can normally live alone… but at the moment she was scared… and she knows Mon is in her place. If Mon doesn’t make her presence notice, then Khum Sam gets more scared. But she also uses that as an excuse to get close to Mon, and she allows it. That’s also way she said: if you don’t wanna sing, come to take a bath with me. I don’t think Khum Sam has any sexual thought or intentions with Mon at this moment. She hasn’t figured out her feelings yet. She just feel comfortable with Mon… but she doesn’t know why exactly…

Oh, I excuse her too! hahaha It's just that if a similar situation was to happen in real life, I am not sure we would be in this naive/innocent bubble that they make for themselves! As an audience, we believe both of them have the best intention towards each other, they are great people that have been hurt by life circumstances. But in real life, someone setting you up the way Sam did to Mon, it's hard to trust or read the real intentions without knowing the whole backstory of the person doing that! That is what I wanted to say by my remarks on the subject! About Sam's feelings: I agree with you that maybe she hasn't yet figured out exactly what she feels (meaning, she isn't able at all to put a label on it). However, she is always looking at Mon's lips, or her figure. I agree with you that maybe the invitation of taking a bath should not be seen as a well thought-out sexual move because obviously it's too early for that stage! But to me, it seems that she definitely is aware of her need to be close to her at all time. Being more mature, having experienced through-out her friends, her sisters and her own relationship with Kirk, I don't think she is as clueless as we usually credit her to be. So, to me, Sam is definitely feeling a strong romantic attraction to her! Might not be overtly sexual, though again it depends where we draw the line of sexuality - for instance, for me: the interpretation that I make of Sam really being drawn to Mon's lips all the time, hence wanting to kiss her, I interpret this as a sexual attraction! But some people would say that a kiss is not sexual, so this discussion is more about points of view and it really depends on the people's references frame!! haha Sorry for the long reply!! Your comments are always so interesting, making me thinking a lot! ✨❤
