This video and song had me in tears. I have limited use of the left side of my body, limbs are pretty much useless. You can become so bitter, you struggle and ask yourself why. You can become so poisonous and toxic to yourself and those around you. The samurai shows me its possible to heal, for that I am grateful. Grateful for this wonderful work of art.

I lost my mother January of this year. She was elderly, lead a very good life. I was able to take care of her the last few years of her life and was with her to the very end. I'm at peace. @@marsournexthome I have come a long way in the last few weeks. I finally accepted the reality that she will not be here in the physical world anymore and that it is a blessing that she suffers no more. I still cry daily, but I have also been able to laugh and I am rebuilding my life without her. I will always carry my love for her and my memories of her, for they bring me comfort and are indelible. I prayed to God that he would lift my heart and he did, so I owe this to him, her presence which I feel often and music, which has been a saving grace throughout my life Thank you for your kinds words.

The moment the staff hugged him, I was just about to start crying. I love stories like these that start off incredibly dark and hopeless, but build up into telling the viewer that yes, yes you can get better. Hits a lot harder when you see that journey than to just be told "you'll be fine!"

3:30 - You can hear the extra life / continue chime from the Genesis Sonic The Hedgehog games. It's the sound you hear when you earn a continue on the game to keep playing after you've lost your lives, and both fits in metaphorically with the song and video's themes about "continuing" and not giving up during hard times. Pretty crafty, genius-level shit right there. Right from the Genesis / Mega Drive: kzread.info/dash/bejne/o5qn29uegbKek6w.html

A few months ago, when I was at home starting the day, I passed out. It was a horrible situation, I hit my face and ended up in a hospital. It was a stress spike. I spent the night there and in a conversation during a checkup, a doctor asked me what music I liked to listen to. They had let me keep my cell phone. I told him that I really liked Thundercat. He didn't know him. (he did know the TV series). I put this song and we listened to it. Today I am very well, fully recovered, and that episode is just a memory. This song reminds me to value what is really important in life. And that it is important to take care of yourself and give yourself the necessary time whenever you can. When all of them Harmonized let me show you, show you the way I swear man. Something special about this song.
Why this song didn't blow up ANNOYS ME.😒
What an amazing song! We need more music like this these days! Also, Kenny Loggins and Michael McDonald still sound as good as they did 30 years ago!
One of the best albums this year

Carolyn Stone, Yes!!🤩 I love 70s, very early 80s sound/music. I notice Thundercats, Tuxedo and Silk Sonic, Daft Punk and some others music is capturing that sound from this Era (70s & 80s).
Why did he just slap "Venom" out of this man's body? He slapped the darkness off him. Definetly a victory slap.
Beautiful story, beautifully shot, beautiful expressions. I wish this was a feature length movie.
The collaboration of Michael McDonald and Kenny Loggins is dope AF
So proud for the samurai
Im sorry but I cried. Healing the wounds of this brother the metaphors are overwelming- thanks T. Wellness = Healing.
The part where he admires the beauty of the birds flying away is when I started crying. It can legit be hard to love life sometimes. Never give up.
The amount of legendary prowess in this feature is ridiculously amazing.
I grew up in the 1970's on Mike and Kenny. Them Changes Blew me Away... This brought tears to my eyes. I'm so glad I saw them in order... Thank GOD for Thundercat...
This song blew me away when I first heard it. Had to listen like 5x in a row. My dream is that Thundercat Kenny and Michael make an entire record together. It would be amazing.

Am I the only one holden back tears from Michael McDonalds voice? Powerful song and video.
Why did this video make me cry ... Omg
At 2:45 my brain starts singing "I keep forgetting" by Mr. McDonald every time. I love this song.
I almost cried 😩 This is a good video for the song. The song deserves a Grammy and the video is perfect for it.☺️I never expected something like this!

It's 3am, and I was feeling burnt out.. this just motivated me to push a little harder and keep studying to pass this PMP test. Thank you.
Thundercat is an amazing composer, producer, and musician. This song he wrote with Kenny and McD is incredible. I first heard it being done in a Kenny Loggins live concert on Soundstage back in 2018, and it blew me away! This man is a true artist, and his musical gifts need to be heard by a lot more people. (The video is a trip too).
I've loved this song since it came out and to this day, I get chills whenever Kenny Loggins comes in and when Michael McDonald hits that high note before his verse is up. So damn good.
That fire right here 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾💯💯💯💯💯💯💯
I'm so glad this has helped so many people. thank you Thundercat/Kenny Loggins/ Micheal McDonald!
How did KZread wait so long to recommend this!!?? Im hooked

3:35 This song was one of my life lines when I lost my dad, then my brother then my sister then my mom so now it's just ...me, but I'm alright now I have a memory of the love they all gave me, I hear their words in my head so often I feel them in my heart, I know they want me to live in the. Happiness they wrapped around my soul and I honor them by my living ❤️🙌🏽🙏🏽

Art like this keeps me hanging on. My curiosity, and the possibility of the next beautiful discovery are all I have sometimes. I'm so glad Thundercat wasn't scared to share his gifts with the world.
There's so much media flowing into us from every perceivable angle that it's easy to lose artists and I'm ashamed to admit that I haven't thought of Thundercat in a few years. So glad this came up because God knows I needed it.
They still got it man Love the sonic stage clear sound at the end
perfect marriage of three great falsetto mystros
I only just discovered Thundercat.. WOW !! Im blown away... this is what ive been looking for !!! BEtter late than never hey
It’s the way you come out of your personalised hell and the look you give to the loved one in front of you. In that moment something comedic clicks. The demons become the robbers that you can see in the cctv. You know at that moment that you’re in a situation. It’s important to look up, it’s valuable to realise that you’re a character in this, it’s vital to know that it’s your fight and then you have to show yourself the way. Who knows maybe the next time you look up you were still in that same hell, but at least you have an experience now.
You'd think I could watch this video without tearing up after seeing it dozens of times...
