@@SpeddyEddy wrong. The predecessor of the thunderbolts is the 2001s, not the SiraTone EOWS. The EOWSs came after the 2001s and were rushed into production and were eventually replaced by MC controlled modulators

It doesnt wind down when its supposed to...

No it's not ig, this siren is supposed to run "undulating Hilo" but the attack timer was hooked up with the fire signal/solenoid

I'd freak out and run straight into a bush if I heard it go off. Always think that strange sounding machine would see me and try and catch me down!

Sounds like a dual tone eows612 or dual tone modulator

When you get that look from your mom and you knew you messed up...

They obviously flicked the modulator switch too many times

Which warning signal is this called that goes hi lo then alert then back to hi lo

I think the siren was supposed to be doing alternate wail, but the alert and attack modes were flipped around by mistake. And that is probably why this thing was doing hi lo alert hi lo alert. I bet if the ema sends out the signal to do alert, this siren would do attack. Either that or alert, because maybe the ar timer is stuck but the relays in the main control box are perfectly fine.

it's because the hi|lo cam in the AR timer is also cut for the attack signal, so it should ho hi|lo siren's pitch drops hi|lo etc. You could say it's alternate wail but it's really hi|lo attack signal, which was a Federal Signal made siren signal.

xXSo1arGamingXx Yes, I was referring to the west one. There are no more videos out there of it anymore as they have been all deleted. Also, according to Byron Rieckman (Sirens of South Dakota), something got caught in the chopper which caused it to catch fire. Now the siren is no longer active and serves as parts for the east Thunderbolt.

Also its kinda weird that the west thunderbolt was the one that died. Cuz the west thunderbolt had a screen protector while the east one didn't.
