Thrustmaster T LCM - Load Cell Pedal Set - Adjustments, Calibration and Installation

Ойындар

For the launch of this product I decided to change things up a bit by simplifying the review by making a series of accompanying videos to go more in depth on those topics. In this video I talk more in detail about setting the Thrustmaster T LCM pedals set and the adjustments that can be made to them. I also cover the installation onto my rig and then finally a brief description of installing the software. I also cover the new calibration menu and how i set these pedals up for me.
Thrustmaster has stepped into the modern era of sim racing equipment. They have now introduced their first load Cell Pedal set for sim racing. This pedal set can be a stand alone USB pedal set at 16 bit on the PC. It is also Xbox One and PS4 compatible when used in 12 bit mode and plugged directly into a Xbox or PS4 Thrustmaster wheelbase.
The pedal set is now available for only $200 and can be purchased at Thrustmasters Amazon store here: fcld.ly/tlcm3

quick note on the spacers: those aren't meant to be 'corresponding' holes per se. The 2 sets of holes on pedal stalk determine pedal height, the 2 sets of holes on the spacers give you finer adjustment to the angle. so lower hole set makes the pedal slightly more vertical. You can also flip either spacer upside down for incremental changes the other way. Between upper/lower threading, spacer choice/orientation, you have something like 9 options for pedal angle.

I thought Thrustmaster was releasing new pedals for adjustment with Gas and Clutch. They could invest for pedals which have inside very hardcore chassis and which will be activated / direct stimulated with a software. The forces. Even the each pedals. But at the moment Im loving my own one kind of setup right know.

  • @StudioDaVeed

Just through the springs... FANTASTIC; best I have seen for how the spring combos work. My T-LCMs are on the way. I chose these over the ClubSport V3 for several reasons but LOVE the quick spring sets swap factor. The V3 was more of a surgical process; these are lightening faster. I am primarily an oval asphalt guy that will focus on all three NASCAR series this upcoming year of 2021. I can see that I may want different spring rates for each car/truck. What would you suggest as a start for the spring combo for the NASCAR series? THANKS! Dave

Hello, I have a T300RS Gt edition wheel along with T-LCM pedals. I use the pedals with the Usb cable, so they are connected to the computer separately. Until today, my pedals were working just fine with the calibration tool. But when I opened the calibration tool today, I realised that the pedals were no longer working. I checked all softwares including the software of the wheel, deleted and re-installed them but nothing worked. I even connected the pedals to the wheel to see if it works, but it didn't. Later, I asked some of my friends who use the same pedals. One of my friends have the exact same problem and he also has a T300RS Gt edition wheel. 2 of my other friends had no issues. I asked one of them to send me the calibration tool that he uses, and when I opened it I realised that the versions are different though it is the same .exe file. His tool is version 2.00, and everything is working fine. Mine is 1.82, and the pedal doesn't work, and the serial number of my pedal is not correctly written on the bottom left of the tool. His software also has the serial number written correctly. Previously, my serial number was also visible on the bottom left, and apparently that has also disappeared. Right now, the pedals are not working and I am not able to use it, neither does my friend with the same wheel. How can this problem be fixed? I am sending two pictures to show you the previous state of the tool and the current one. I've been using these for 2-3 weeks and it looks like the TM calibration is on the hardware itself ('in the firmware'), so if you set some deadzone in the TM calibration, and also set your deadzone in a racing game, it will add extra deadzone on top of the deadzone that is already been set in the TM calibration tool. (the only way to calibrate it with the TM software is when connected with the usb cable)

Shawn I’m struggling!!! In GT7, I’m am WAY over braking. Currently using black & Red springs with zero top dead zone, and 85%. Last night I was gray & black a 75% with 5 top dead zone. The problem has not improved. The in game calibration tool in Options showed that I was reaching for break at about 80% of the travel. My antilock brake is turned on what it usually is Default. Thrustmaster has not been very helpful with this. The only thing they can do is point you to the manual, which does not give you a natural description or troubleshooting for certain conditions, we may be experiencing while breaking. If you’d like to see exactly what I’m talking about, check out my live stream from today. It’s rather frustrating. This should’ve been a simple, two races in one hour that turned into a nightmare. That template, the center hall of the template. It worked on was off by 1/4 inch 😆

I bought them yesterday...so cool! It was interesting time to test spring variations and calibrations after that. Need more playing for more accurate setting of Brake Force in calibration tool Right now I don't understand which setting I need... May be I'll change springs too...Harder springs with less Brake Force setting vs Softer springs with more Brake Force setting - which is the best for me, I don't know yet. Any advices? Great reviews, Shaun. Thanks!

You have to use the red hardest bows. Watch good sims, the brake pedals are very hard and steep. just like heusunkvield pedals

@@EnzoRacer1 Hardness is not important for pedals with potashmeter technology. But this is important for load cell pedals. Because the important thing here is not the distance traveled, but the weight you will apply to the pedal. Therefore, the important thing in loadcell is to have a hard spring. You can have a look at Fanatec v3. They sell extra dampers to harden the brake spring. Just use the red bows for 1 week and you will realize it feels better. So I switched from g27 pedal to t-lcm

@@EnzoRacer1 You're wrong. It doesn't matter whether it moves or not at T-lcm. That g29 was also important. Your muscle strength matters in Tlcm. It doesn't matter if the pedal does not move, especially better because you will be able to give your muscle power to the brake better.

Bringing the brake more forward isn’t gonna give u more distance … I feel like it’ll just stop sooner. The pedal max distance is still the same, the pedal is just gonna be more toward at max press. Correct me if I’m wrong
