The one decision I didn't understand was the straight drive into middle left side that El S played. Coll just got a let with no dispute. To me, that was easy stroke. Coll was right there.

The no let call at 17.20 is spot on. Close examination reveals there isn't actually any contact between the two players! Coll falls over as he is unbalanced.

Game ball was clearly good. Coll was dreaming if he thought that was down. Got to also say that the those two decisions that went against him seemed pretty rough.

Amazing game played by Shorbagy. Played nearly perfect squash. Not spectacular but very very solid.

Coll fan, he was playing really smart, heady ball the first 5 points, then switched back to the just wear him down strategy. Just an observation.

Actually he played the ball, hence he accepted the interference. So what should be a decision if the ball wasnt down after accidental coll's shot? Coll could say that he won the point

There was hardly any contact before he went down. You can't just fall down on your own and expect a let.

Terrible reffing...in my opinion.. just as it was in Egypt when these two met....for some reason,shorbagy always gets the decision...then has a chat with the ref when it doesn't go he's way...!?

Just so you have some feedback, I stopped watching after the 9 7 no let which is clearly a yes let. I mean what's the point of looking through video several times if you can't make a reasonable decision. Just pointless to watch further because I can't be bothered to care about the result.

what are those commentators about? both decisions the VAR got them right. the first one was stroke because the ball was poor and the main difference between asal's and mohamed's left hand is that asal does it dirty and with intention and mo did it because he wanted to avoid slamming his face into paul's back. and the other no let decision was right because the shot was too good and mohamed was moving away from paul"s path and cleared the way to the ball
